It works! We have a serious Wasp and Yellowjacket problem! I know this gets some bad reviews, but mine works just great! I must have gotten a good one! You want the insect to get caught in the net for best results! Don't swing too hard because it will just bounce off. You almost just want to hold the racket up and let the insect fly into it.

I swear by these things for getting rid of flying bugs in my apartment. All you do is swing it at the bug like a tennis racket and BUZZZTT!!! no more bug. It's a hand-held electric bug zapper and it's the only way to get a flies or whatever else is bugging you. Definitely recommended.

I have been using these for years. I always have more than one in the house. I have tiny flies on my back porch and cannot deal with the ugly gross fly strips, these are so much better. Cost effective, my batteries last for more than one summer and there is no question of "did i get that one?" Most of the time you can hear the sound of zap, but some are too small to make the noise, but are still zapped. I ordered a new one this year %26 the design has changed somewhat but they are just as effective. More lightweight than the old and not as bulky. HIGHLY recommend

The racket does not zap anything - bugs fly through it. See a phorid fly or mosquito on the wall? Sneak up on it and slap the racket over it and watch it look up, chuckle, and lazily fly up and maybe in your face. Annoy buggies around you by waving this at them, thinking humans are the planet's apex predator. Bugs may move into your house for safety if they hear you own this for protection. I had to smack a doorknob to see a spark. I'm twice as mad as you for buying one because my purchase was two. Also, the item in the picture is not what you receive. See photo.

dont waste your money! this doesnt even zap bugs without putting heavy pressure on the multiple wired layers. the plastic end that holds the batteries in broke off after the first day of opening and putting batteries in leaving it 100% useless and unfixable. seriously do not buy

I paid over $16 for two of these because they had the best reviews. Neither works. Brand new Energizer batteries put in properly, and it lights up red when you try to use it. No charge at all. Hasn't killed one fly. If you touch it, there is nothing.

The battery cartridge wasn't even installed correctly. I had minus and positive across from each other. I had to open the thing and flip the bottom board myself. The batteries were installed then worked. Really ridiculous, I use the thing on mosquitoes and it didn't even kill them just sent the flying to the floor and I stepped on them. Unfortunately I'm drunk so I don't wanna return this thing, because I might need it to shock my self next time I consider buying one of these. Don't buy this junk. Home depot version are better.

Had this delivered. Put batteries in it the red light lights up but this does not work at all. I've had this exact brand before for over 8 years and finally broke it swinging at a hornet. The new version is smaller. Take your chances. Maybe I just received a bad one.

I might as well had bought a tennis racket because this thing was useless. I put the batteries in, pressed the button, smacked the fly....oh wow! The sucker is still alive and wasn't zapped at all. It just bounced on the floor and got right back up like nothing happened.

not a happy camper right now. delivered damaged without battery cover. either way it is the worst product i have ever bought. it does not work. brand new vatteries in it. it doesnt matter if you had the button continuously or not it does not work. your better off going and throwing 12 to 15 dolars in the ocean and hope you can jump in and find it 30 mins later. Do NOT waste your money and tgat refund they promise isa joke. currently onhold with customer service right now at 43 mins
