excellent th burner does not have chipping paint even after regular use ... I think th non stick cast iron is a superior burner material n heats very evenly n in reasonable time n no scorching so far ... very desirable hot plate n a great addition to my kitchen :)

I love this hotplate. It is better than the stovetop. It heats up 3 times faster and gets food hot and ready in no time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can already tell this little thing is going to be used a lot. It's small and not heavy so it doesn't take up too make space to store or when I'm use. Has different heat settings. My hood over stove has been messed up a while so I haven't been cooking too many things that smoke a lot, this has solved that problem as I can plug it up outside and cook without having to worry about smoke. Heats up fast. Get the job done. This would also be great to take camping or to hotels etc... would also come handy on holidays when you need any extra burner when cooking so much food at once. I don't have anything negative to say about it!

We moved to a college city and live in a studio apartment that does not have a stove, This burner works perfectly and gets up to temp pretty quickly. The whole product is sturdy however the knob is not. With proper care, I believe I will get plenty of use from it. For my situation, it has already paid for itself.

Great find! Haven't had it long, but it works like a charm. Puts out an amazing amount of heat--even on level 3, I can boil water for tea in no time. Works great for frying food as well. Definitely recommend!

Perfect for my space, love it.

I bought this to use in an enclosed porch when 'm cooking things like onions or Brussels sprouts and want to keep the smell out of my small kitchen. So far it seems to do the job

Package arrived wrapped in what appeared to be a black garbage bag, secured with a cross cross of packing tape. It was extremely suspicious, and almost appeared unsafe. Upon opening, the box was damaged on multiple sides. I am hoping it is in working condition, as it is a gift.

It was meh. It worked fine the first couple of months and then it took e longer and longer for it to get hot. Until it finally stopped working after 5mo since purchase. The body itself gets hot so be careful. If you are using this as a temporary disposable appliance, it should suffice. Otherwise invest in something better.

I purchased on July 6th, 2020...for my espresso maker...it failed ~ December 10th....not so durable eh?
