Elmer's Liquid School Glue
I saw a video about how to use this glue in lieu of resin. I have yet to gather up all the essentials but the concept seems easy and is safe for use by children. I do crafts with just about everything, some using vintage items and repurposing. It is super important to me that the glue dries without leaving a visible sign.

Works great to cover puzzles!
I put puzzles together and when I'm finally done darned if I'm going to tear it apart again so I glue them with this glue. Works great. Of course you cover both sides and let each side dry over night. I decorate for Christmas with a lot of my puzzles. Weird maybe but putting them together keeps me off the computer and buying things for grandkids!
