this works great ,the only problem is the synthetic voice its very mushy mouth and hard to understand which alarm went off (i have 4) all it needs is "ONE" "TWO" etc in a clear voice telling which alarm went of or have a different color light announcing the tripped alarm
I first purchased my initial sensor and reciever two years ago, with the thought that if it worked like the ad said, I would purchase more sensors eventually. It did work as the ad said. It has atleast a mile range. The only thing I really dislike was trying to catch the store having the extra sensors all by thierself without having to purchase a new reciever. I did eventually come across two more. I love them and could not live without them! I don't get many false notifications either. I do get a few but not much.
this is awesome. compact, discreet, portable, true cordless, no WiFi or app needed. standalone audio security alert. 4 sensors, 4 zones. gives a 360° alert when mounted properly. oh bonus! waterproof and solar! all that and a bag of chips 🤩
Works so well with my very long driveway...1 at entrance and 1 at opening to my front yard....alerts me for anyone coming!!! Thanks for such an awesome product!!
Good range Recharges enough in partly sunny skies and sometimes on cloudy days. This new version has a better attachment to the mount than to pre-2021 version. Pairing multiple sensors is easy if all post-2021 version. Sound selection for each sensor is easy to pick and plenty of choices.
they changed the voice from a man to a woman and we cant understand her out old unit was very easy to understand i had to mount the receiver so we could look and see which sensor is going off
I can't recommend this product in all honesty. I've had two other driveway alarm systems in the last 13 years. This is my third, my first of this particular brand. I think they wear out pretty quickly because of being outside in all kinds of weather constantly. That's not the part I'm complaining about. This one was fairly difficult to set up, simply in terms of the vagueness of the instructions. My biggest complaint is that it goes off constantly. I can see it from my living room window and can see that there is absolutely nothing within its range to set it off. It does go off when a car or a person comes within its scope, but it also goes off just for no reason at all. For some reason, it seems to start malfunctioning in the mid to late afternoon. All of a sudden it just starts going off, one right after the other. As soon as it finishes, playing one tone, it automatically starts playing another and another and another. It's the same tone and the one I picked for that particular zone. But it just won't stop playing the tone! I literally have to unplug it. Once it's been unplugged for a few hours, I can plug it back in and it will work for the next few hours. It's extremely frustrating. My other two alarms never gave me this kind of problem.
The alarms have good range and do work well. As long as you are okay with the default tones they should work fine for you. If you want to set any of the optional tones is where the problem lies. The timer for pairing is too short and you have to scroll through really fast or it times out. I also found that once I had the 2 alarms set to my desired tones and they were working in the house one of them defaulted to factory doorbell sound when it was installed. Customer service is pretty useless. You have to email them, no website, and wait for them to get back to you. The response was no help at all. The included phone number in the package doesn't work.
This motion sensor works really good if your car is going less then 3 mph in broad daylight. Other then that it won't pick up anything, except deer at 3am. I can't stop saying good things about it. 10/10 must recommend.
This driveway alarm is not one of the heavy duty ones that generally sell in this price range. This is a Chinese made unit that has a small speaker that's not very loud, and a small sensing unit with very small mounting screws. I'm not impressed and I would not have purchased it if I saw it first.
