You will probably have to put some new batteries in this takes a CR 2032. You won't be able to set the time clock if the battery is low dead found out the hard way. What should I put a new battery in it? Very easy to set up works as works as advertised. I think it's a very good product. I love this alarm clock. This is the third one I am buying. I keep finding different places in the house where I'd like to use it. I love the fact that you can set it to wake you every day, just the weekdays, or just the weekends. I love the fact that it has Bluetooth so you can use it as a speaker. The numbers are big and shine bright. It has a light underneath it if you choose to use it. The radio gets great reception.

i have been looking for this exact clock for awhile. had one years ago but lost it in a move. very pleased to have found another one. definitely would recommend it.

This clock/radio is perfect in our bathroom! I chose this item because it was supposed to be "ready to go" when first plugged in. Only problem was the battery was dead! So after replacing the battery...it was fairly easy to program all settings. It did automatically reset for daylight saving time -that was a plus!!

Tricky set up as in the directions that are included are SUPER TINY! Yeah, so you need a magnifying glass or someone with extremely superior eyesight to read the directions. I don't use the alarm feature on any of these contraptions anyway, but should they need arise? I'm just gonna figure it out rather than try to read the directions. That's why I only put.2 stars for ‘assembly' cause it was frustrating to have to use my phone to zoom in on the directions let alone follow them! That's also why I didn't recommend/not recommended. Emerson's a good brand so hopefully I will have this thing for years to come by which time I will have it figured out.🤪

Love the set up and features instructions a little unclear in a few spots. Said it would automatically set time and date to my time zone but just started at default time and had to do myself not a big deal but not what was expected. Overall happy with it and for a good price.

When it is first plugged in the display was to automatically show the correct time, date, year, etc. BUT THAT NEVER HAPPENED!!! So, I tried to read the directions to set everything BUT THE DIRECTIONS ARE SO CONFUSING!!! Unfortunately, I cannot return it because I thought that it being an Emerson product, which I thought was a good choice, I disposed of all the packaging. I am now stuck with this inferior product.

The clock works really well -- after I replaced the dead cr2032 backup battery. Unfortunately the FM reception is poorer than other Emerson models. I'll use the clock in a location I don't need radio. But I can't use it in the bedroom where I want radio. That's disappointing.

First impression, the "tab" securing the box lid was deformed. It had already been opened. Instructions said to save ALL packing materials, including stickers on the screen, there was no protective film or stickers on the screen! Is it used? A return? Who cares if it WORKS? Instructions stated, "Just plug it in!" As other reviews stated, first thing was the blinking red "DEAD BATTERY" icon, but I kind of expected that after reading the reviews. My biggest complaint is, AT WHAT POINT DOES IT "SELF SET?" I paid for a "self setting" clock!! Plugged it in and got "12:00 AM" same as any regular clock I could have bought for half the price! This is my second attempt at a "self setting" clock. First was Atomic, this one is supposed to be FM radio signal. Do any "self setting" clocks actually "self set???"

I am not pleased with this click radio because the setting buttons/controls do not work. I have attempted to set the correct date, day, time, etc., and the buttons do not work. I was only able to set the year after various attempts throughout several days but the setting buttons do not work. This is very disappointing because I really like the new look of this clock radio. The instructions are not difficult since all that is required is common sense after reading the instructions. Bottom line is that this clock radio is defective and I want a total refund or a replacement with similar clock radio that is fully functional and not defective.
