Emerson SmartSet Dual Alarm Clock Radio with Bluetooth Speaker, Large LED Display and Night Light, CKS1507

OK, let me start by commenting on other ratings I have read. First of all, while the LED night light is a bit too bright for me, the dimming function on the display will suit most people. The Blue LED display is nice because red tends to make people anxious, and green tends to appear brighter due to human eye sensitivity. Blue tends to be soothing. The size of the digits make it easy to read, glasses on or off. Setup is fairly simple, if you actually read the directions. The dual alarm feature is nice because I sometimes work on Saturdays... If I don't have to work on the weekend, I simply leave that alarm off. The fact that it adjusts itself for Daylight saving time is a plus, too... one less clock to set.

My present Emerson SmartSet Dual Alarm Clock Radio only shows Time now, and lights up, which is nice. After being in Storage for one year, I do not know how, but the buttons on top are raising up and not working. When I found that Walmart had this item for a ****** low price, I knew why. The Clock is AMAZING but the INSTRUCTION MANUAL is very poor! But I digress. I am simply over the moon now that I have a NEW ONE! For just $22 (TOT with tax!) Now I can program it to play music to wake me up and not beepers waking me up. THANK YOU WALMART!

I love this alarm clock. This is the third one I am buying. I keep finding different places in the house where I'd like to use it. I love the fact that you can set it to wake you every day, just the weekdays, or just the weekends. I love the fact that it has Bluetooth so you can use it as a speaker. The numbers are big and shine bright. It has a light underneath it if you choose to use it. The radio gets great reception.

I highly recommend this clock radio. I bought this to use at my desk at work because of its compact size and functions. I work in a building that does not have terrific reception. This radio tunes in great! It works so well that I now have two coworkers that have purchased the same clock radio and are equally as happy. It is Bluetooth which is handy as well.

Love the set up and features instructions a little unclear in a few spots. Said it would automatically set time and date to my time zone but just started at default time and had to do myself not a big deal but not what was expected. Overall happy with it and for a good price.

This clock/radio is perfect in our bathroom! I chose this item because it was supposed to be "ready to go" when first plugged in. Only problem was the battery was dead! So after replacing the battery...it was fairly easy to program all settings. It did automatically reset for daylight saving time -that was a plus!!

Tricky set up as in the directions that are included are SUPER TINY! Yeah, so you need a magnifying glass or someone with extremely superior eyesight to read the directions. I don't use the alarm feature on any of these contraptions anyway, but should they need arise? I'm just gonna figure it out rather than try to read the directions. That's why I only put.2 stars for ‘assembly' cause it was frustrating to have to use my phone to zoom in on the directions let alone follow them! That's also why I didn't recommend/not recommended. Emerson's a good brand so hopefully I will have this thing for years to come by which time I will have it figured out.🤪

When it is first plugged in the display was to automatically show the correct time, date, year, etc. BUT THAT NEVER HAPPENED!!! So, I tried to read the directions to set everything BUT THE DIRECTIONS ARE SO CONFUSING!!! Unfortunately, I cannot return it because I thought that it being an Emerson product, which I thought was a good choice, I disposed of all the packaging. I am now stuck with this inferior product.

Radio is great Never been able to set clock or alarm. Even had other people try thinking maybe I wasn't doing it correctly but no one has been able to set it!

I am not pleased with this click radio because the setting buttons/controls do not work. I have attempted to set the correct date, day, time, etc., and the buttons do not work. I was only able to set the year after various attempts throughout several days but the setting buttons do not work. This is very disappointing because I really like the new look of this clock radio. The instructions are not difficult since all that is required is common sense after reading the instructions. Bottom line is that this clock radio is defective and I want a total refund or a replacement with similar clock radio that is fully functional and not defective.
