I have a nebulizer, and I used the instructions from that when I received these. Open package, remove metal [ lay aside], put hot tap water in a bowl than microwave for 1 -2 minutes. pull green band all the way back from mask. open mask fully and place into hot water. BE CAREFUL. HOT!! Cover with a lid, because of tubing hanging out, place a heavy object on top just to hold lid tighter. Wait about 5 minutes. Remove, dry , replace your metal nose piece. READY TO USE.

total useless junk ! seemed like old stock mask was collapsed and stuck to itself elastic strap was dry and brittle.
