When buying batteries for smoke detectors, reliability is what counts. There are only a handful of brands I'd trust and Energizer is one of them. Absolutely no issues with them and they're changed every six months. They cost a bit more than some of the competition but when your family and home depend on them, it's absolutely worth it.
First off this purchase was for a smoke detector I missed during the time change. When I took it down I discovered it had a dollar store battery in it. I have always used Energizer batteries in important appliances. I don't know what wise guy put it in there. Maybe one that got woke up and it was their way of silencing that annoying chirp. I got woke up in the middle of the night by my dog that hates smoke detectors. I looked online before buying it from Walmart. I see why so many people purchase the cheaper batteries but I couldn't do that for something so important. My question is when did batteries get so expensive?
I recently purchased this battery for a back up for power outage for an alarm clock. Since I just purchased it I don't know the longevity, etc. but I've been using the Energizer brand for years and expect good quality.
ln the middle of last night...my smoke detector started chirping...so l was able to add it to my order...lm grateful
I took a photo of the box contain the batteries. One was missing. I weng on chat to make a complaint. I was advised to call Customer Service for the situation at hand. I've been ill %26 did not call yet
This battery is a great battery. After years of using the same battery, this brand, in a lamp at home, I just now had to replace it. It always fits perfectly, and it's affordable.
There are a lot of dogs running free where I live, so I brought an anti-dog barking sonic device, but it did not come with a V9 battery. Once I saw the low price, I got it. The battery is holding up just fine.
Energizer MAX 9V batteries are a great household essential! When it comes to batteries, I want a brand I can trust, especially for important devices like smoke detectors and other household electronics. Energizer has always been a dependable name, and I appreciate the advertised 5-year shelf life, which makes these great to keep on hand for when they're needed. Having spare batteries around the house gives me peace of mind. A practical purchase and definitely something every household should keep stocked. Highly recommend!
very expensive for one battery!!
Powerful good brand for long use
