Energizer MAX D Batteries (8 Pack), D Cell Alkaline Batteries

I used Maxell batteries exclusively for 30 years. Then about 10 years ago, I started to have a lot of leakage problems. If Maxell had to pay for all the electronics that were destroyed by their leaking batteries, I'll bet they would figure out what their problem is. So far, I have had no problem with these.

If every 7-12 years or so you find yourself with some sort of idiotic device that requires D batteries, then you could buy these batteries and not be unpleased by their performance just like me. I mean who actually knows how long D batteries are supposed to last? Would another brand have died out after a couple of hours of the incessant roar of an unnecessarily loud Hot Wheels track? Maybe, I have no idea. What I do know is that my kids played with their cars on that track shooting them into the air for hours while I tried to drown them out with music, and they still use that thing, and its been weeks since I put the batteries in the silly thing, so at least we know these batteries will last. I guess if you have an annoying electronic device that you can’t stand the sound of, then these would not be the right batteries to purchase, but all things being equal these Energizers got the job done. Good job little Energizer bunny, your batteries work well.

item has good reputation. convienent to have on hand for when you need them. long lasting batteries.

These work great for many things, flashlights, other lights, automatic trash cans, all kinds of things.

I didn't get things I wanted and the quality on some of it was poor quality.(when shiped) The AI made it look good.When I got it wasn't good.

Energizer is known for its long lasting life. Bought Sam's club batteries and they lasted about a week in my son's swing. Got these and it's been almost a month and a half and they are still going strong.

Thank you for clearing up the matter of my orders being cancled. I have recieved a few items, waiting on more. I do appreciate the reps kindness, as I was very upset. Canc'd 3 times..

I wrote a long drawn out review but decided they prob would not post it. I will just say this - If you want the 2nd part of your order (AKA the other pack of batteries to make it the 2PACK that was advertised) spend 1 quick moment and e-mail customer service. After I agreed to an on-line ( no - i did not receive all of my order) a few days later the batteries were at my front door.

I ordered these batteries with a flashlight. The flashlight I just got today it was on a delay delivery. I insert the batteries in it today these batteries are almost dead. I had ordered these batteries as well as the flashlight on July 3rd.

Two of the batteries were corroded, and the others did not work at all. We were out camping and did not have the batteries we needed for our lanterns, but were unable to bring them in for a refund.
