This gets VERY warm, very quickly. The "1" setting is plenty warm enough to preheat the mattress. I tried the Preheat setting and found that to be almost boiling. But I am a little more warm blooded than others

This was a gift and he loves it. it works great and the dual controls are perfect. He can turn his side on and the other side can be on whatevers comfortable for them. The material is soft. Definitely will purchase again.

this is the best I've ever found. I love it. this is the second one that I have bought. I have one on every bed in the house. the first one I bought lasted 3 years literally on non-stop because I have medical issues and it is literally on 24/7

Nice looking blanket. Good price . Heats good. Controller LACKS when it shuts off no indication that pad is heating display does not show that. You know its off because its cold yet controller shows on. Hence the discount. Hopefully not a fire hazard.

This is the worst gift I ever bought someone I share a bed with. It pretends to be dual-sided controls, but it doesn't function that way. When one side is on, it heats the wires in the other side after being on for about 2 hours. The wires are thick and can be felt under you even through thick sheets. With cotton sheets, the wires on my side almost feel hot enough to burn my skin even when unplugged if the other side is turned on 2. I was so excited to get this for my husband. Now, in order for him to use it, I only get to sleep for the first 2 hours a night. Do NOT get this unless it's for you and you sleep alone. If you have a sleep partner who runs hotter than you and you buy and use this mattress pad, they're gonna want their own bed within a week.

The material was super soft and it fit my bed perfectly! BUT it was way too HOT even on 1… I didn't get much sleep because I had to turn it off and on all night because I would get way to hot then cold! It would get super hot at the head of the bed but the feet would barely get warm!! The wires wires were very uncomfortable. And the timers are super big on my bed side table to. Needless to say I returned this item 3 days later!

Worked well at first, but beware, after 7 months one of the wires began smoking and started melting a hole in the blanket. Luckily, my husband smelled it and turned it off before catching fire. He only had it set on 4 at the time.
