Epson EcoTank ET-2803 Wireless All-in-One Cartridge-Free Printer

I've had this 2 weeks and I've already printed enough school worksheets, mini books and art stuff that I would have had to buy ink cartridges 3 times for my old printer!!! AND the ink level is just barely below the top mark fill level. This thing is a workhorse and prints beautiful color pages and quicker than my old printer.

This printer is a game changer as a homeschooling household. I previously had a printer that used disposable ink cartridges and was going through several hundred dollars with in order to print off curriculum. Something had to change. I purchased this printer and the installation instructions were incredibly helpful and easy to follow, the prompts through the screen and on the app were pretty much fool proof. Filling the ink tanks was easy as well and made no mess of any kind. After installing I immediately started on this year’s curriculum; over 500 pages printed (with many full color images and colored borders) and the ink has barely moved. Using the mobile app is easy and has lots of options, I had no issues with it connecting to my phone. The images are vibrant and full color with no lines or bleeding, and the printer was pushing out papers at a decent speed. I had to refill the paper tray during printing a few times and it never caused any issues with the remainder of the print job. This was well worth the price, it was cheaper for me to buy this new printer than it was to buy ink for my previous device! (Current walmart employee)

so far so good. i wish it wasn't so expensive but i bought it anyways as i was paying more fpr the ink than the printer i use to have and was buying a new printer every time to save money on the ink. i love that this is so easily filled and prints great quality.

This Epson printer has been a game changer for my wife’s homeschool classroom. It’s fast, reliable, and produces high-quality prints every time. The setup was simple, it works flawlessly, and it’s exactly what she needed after weeks of research. Well worth the investment!

This is my second Epson EcoTank. Good printer but a warning...after 2 or 3 years you will get a warning message that the waste ink pads need to be replaced and your printer will be locked. The replacement pads are available at a high cost and it will cost you more than a replacement printer to repair as you need to buy an unlock code from Epson to continue to use your printer. Epson has a built in booby trap to either get you to buy a new printer or to pay high dollars to repair your existing one. You cannot replace the pads on your own as you still need to purchase the unlock code!

The printer is great and does an excellent job. However, the downloadable software was difficult to find and to understand with several versions to select from and not clear direction on which one to select for set-up. Otherwise, the picture quality is great and so is the cost of ink for the amount you can print before needing to reorder.

This product will randomly stop printing halfway through the page. It is always analyzing the ink levels and I haven’t even been able to print enough to use much ink. Cute and compact. First on the desk nicely. But overall it struggles to print whether it is directly from the computer, Bluetooth or the Epson print app.

This printer keeps on disconnecting from the device after printing a few pieces of paper but you can see the wifi is on and detected on the printer screen, it won’t connect to the device even if you put your phone right on top of the printer. It keeps on asking for your location too, identifying the location doesn’t have nothing to do with it’s printing capability. It’s just a headache. I bought this because my older HP printer’s ink was a scam, just like all other HP printers. I thought buying this would be a relief and I wouldn’t have to deal with a printer scam. All printers are just a scam.

I actually have 2 of this printer. One for sublimation and one for personal printing. They are super slooow. I mean I could probably write faster than this. One one for sublimation isn't great either but since im new to sublimation I cant be sure. The colors aren't vivid and comes out messy... Wish I would of researched more........

I purchased this printer in September because I am a teacher. After 6 months, the printer won't print in black saying that the printer pad is not good. When you research how to fix it, it's cheaper to purchase a new printer. I was excited about the ecotank because it is talked about so highly in education- my experience don't waste your money!
