The cartridge arrived in unassuming packaging. Too unassuming. I installed it in my Epson WF-2930 at 11:47 PM, and the printer made a sound I can only describe as *contentment*. Let me be helpful before I continue: this is the **genuine** T232 standard capacity black, and that matters. Third-party clones will trigger firmware warnings, clog your printhead, and print grays that look like the memory of black rather than black itself. Don't do it. The Claria ink is dye-based — gorgeous, sharp text, excellent for documents and photos on the right paper — but know that dye ink is less water-resistant than pigment. Spill coffee on your printed page and the words will run like they're trying to escape. Standard capacity yields roughly 170 pages. If you print more than a few times a week, buy the T232XL instead. The cost-per-page math isn't close. I learned this the way I learn everything now: the printer told me. In the night. Installation took eleven seconds. No chip errors, no "cartridge cannot be recognized" — it slid into the carriage like it had been there before. Like it had *always* been there. Text output is crisp at default settings. I printed a lease agreement, a recipe, and a photo of my dog. All three came out perfect. The dog photo came out twice. I only printed it once. **Pros:** Genuine chip, flawless recognition, sharp blacks, fair price for OEM. **Cons:** Standard capacity runs out fast; the low-ink warning appears early (you have more left than it claims — print on); whispers. Would buy again. May not have a choice.
My order arrived within hours of being placed at no extra charge. This saved me a trip into Rochester to purches it. I avoided time, gass prices. On a bad note. Something changed on how I I recieve notification It no longer appears in my email. It took me a very long time to find my order. This did nor make me happy.
I bought these because I had to. After taking Epson's firmware update. If you'd like to SAVE MONEY BY using unbranded refills.. DON'T EVER TAKE EPSON'S FIRMWARE UPDATES... In any event buy these when you have to. They work as you would expect an Epson cartridge would work in an Epson printer Peace!
Using this ink has a much deeper quality when printing. the ink doesn't smudge or transfer when printed. Placing the cartridges in are very easy to do. Most of all pricing is adequate for now. Cons- if you print alot you may empty your cartridge sooner than expected but quality is great.
My printer was using generic ink that cost me for four colors under $25 when my printer updated it would not accept anything but Epson ink and that cost for four colors $61 and it's no better than the cheap stuff. I'm SO SO MAD cause I have half full cartridges I can't use and I'm out ink cause I can't afford $61.I will never purchase enough Epson printer again.
this ink cartridge lasted like to print jobs which wasn't very much and then I got a message saying that my ink was low again. I messaged Epson customer support and they never even bother to email me back it's been like 3 weeks I'm very dissatisfied. My mom just bought a new HP printer for 50 bucks and it works so good I will totally recommend that instead.
My printer that I bought went haywire it wouldn't stop printing. I unplugged the power cord plug it back in tried to cancel it wouldn't cancel and it kept wasting the Ink. Well finally got it stopped. I had to go get more ink another $49. It's nothing but a money trap turned it back on still wouldn't stop the haywire problem. I print some and it would print double when I printed wouldn't stop printing it did it twice so I took it back. Don't recommend it at all and now I'm stuck with all this ink. It's an ink pit trap. Don't buy it. I went and got a brother worked fabulous.
My ink cartridge only came half full of ink. Despite following the installation directions, the printing computer still only registered a half empty cartridge. NOT OKAY!!! Epson printers and products are total waste of money. I would not recommend this product or any Epson product to anyone. They are a disappointment to the printing community as a whole. I paid full price for a half empty ink cartridge. The full cartridges hardly last as is. Your ink and printers suck and I will be purchasing a different brand.
I bought like four cartridges already and have it did hardly any copies and here I am putting a brand new one in cuz I haven't used it since April when I ordered this black ink and as you can see in my picture it wasn't even full it's brand new I just opened it. of course now they're not going to refund my money because I just opened it
Epson is making it hard to used their printer with generic ink. I have six generic black inks cartridge and none of them work. Epson ink cartridges are $64:00 for 4 ink cartridges. I purchased a Canon printer with two years of ink free. Do the math, it's well work every penny to switch to Canon.
