Epson WorkForce Pro WF-3820 Wireless All-in-One Color Inkjet Printer

This printer replaces an Epson WF5220 which was a workhorse as a full-time office printer. The replacement lives up to its predecessor and Epson brand. And it was nearly 50% off the regular price.

We had this model before. it was given to me. when it stopped working, I bought a lower priced epson. It didn't work out. So i caught this one on sale. It's great. Easy to print from phone or computers .

I purchased a printer other than an Epsom because it was on sell. Big Mistake! I've always used Epson. The ink is extremely cheaper and the quality of print is great.

My Epson WF-********* stopped working after years of use and was not able to fix it, so it was less expensive to buy a WF-********* which meets my needs as well as my former unit.

Didn't order printer since I already have one!!! Took it back to Walmart who returned my money. However I heard they are not making anymore of these printers or their ink!!!! If this is true, then please send me another set of four ink colors for Epson WorkForce Pro WF-3820 for all the trouble this has caused me and also so that I could get a little more use of it before it wears out. It is less than 3 years old!!! It has proven to be a good printer for me.

Sorry I waited so long to replace my last Epson. Hate change. Buy the Epson Ink ! I always bought the generic type. Don’t !! Spend the extra couple of bucks for the Epson ink. I was surprised to notice that it updates itself. Very happy with it. I have owned probably 5 machines over the years and Epson is my favorite.

If you are looking for a good home printer, this is probably it! This printer has a lot of features, and is surprisingly compact. Upon unpacking it (and removing an impressive amount of protective tape), setup was a breeze. After plugging it in, the steps on the screen walked me through installing the ink cartridges and connecting to the internet. After that, it was to the computer! I don't have a DVD Drive for my laptop, so I downloaded the software from the internet. I then installed everything and walked through setup. Again, this was pretty simple, and I was printing in very little time. It took about 20 minutes from opening the box to printing my first piece of paper. Printing on this model is very fast, and the quality is fantastic! I immediately printed several pages, and was amazed at how fast it went. I then printed 10 photos (5x7). The quality was so good, I could barely tell the difference between the best mode and regular printing. Very impressive! Keep in mind that photos print much slower than the specs. Those are referencing basic prints. That said, it did fine. The good: - Easy Setup - Fast - Sheet Fed Scanning -Duplex - The screen is small, but the interface is well done (see photo) - It asks what paper you have in the printer when you replace the paper tray (see photo) Needs improvement: - The ink cartridges are extremely small. If you do high volume color, this might not be the printer for you, but for basic printing, I think it's fine. - The paper tray isn't super easy to replace. This printer randomly decides the ink is no longer compatible. It usually occurs after printing 1 item and needing to print the next item. I originally thought it was faulty ink but realized it’s not the ink it’s the printer itself. Soooo frustrating !

I have tried everything possible to connect this printer and still can not get it to work. I tried customer support and it was no help. I got it for my business and feel like I wasted my money because I threw the box away.
