Equate 0.25 Oz. Severe Toothache & Gum Relief Antiseptic Gel

Despite other reviews I love this product more than Oragel. For starters it doesn't taste as horrible as Oragel. I find the taste more bearable and the fact that it's a paste means that it will stay in place instead of draining all over your mouth and numbing everything which I find very uncomfortable however if you're in severe pain you wouldn't care. Also this is meant to be a temporary fix and some people expect it to be a wonder drug and take out ALL tooth pain but let's face it, not all toothache pain is the same. Some can be too far gone and oral numbing medication will not help at all. All in all its a great product and I hope I don't have to buy more but if I do, this is my product of choice.

It's the exact same medicine and strength as Orajel and works the same. Why spend more for the exact same thing?? I'm so thankful for this! It works for sore teeth and gums until you can get to the dentist!

I don't have lower teeth anymore and I developed a sore spot on my gums from chewing food with my gums. I picked up some Equate Severe Toothache and Gum Relief Antiseptic Gel and dabbed a little on the sore gum. It worked immediately the pain and soreness went away.

for pain this stuff is awesome!! i had severe tooth and jaw pain on the left side of my face from clenching my teeth. i rubbed this on my gums and the pain was gone in a flash. it numbs anything it touches so if you get it on your tongue or cheek it will go numb for a bit but after a while the numbness seems to go away but the pain is still gone. it keeps the pain away for quite a while. i will by this anytime for mouth pain!

this stuff is nice and strong. perfect if you have pain in mouth....for me it was a life savor.

I only gave it 4 stars because I haven't used it yet. I bought it to keep on hand just in case these old teeth of mine start aching. I'm 83 years old with all of my original teeth.

It works, but seems to have a gritty consistency

It’s not strong enough. I usually get ’Orajel’ but since I am seeing my dentist tomorrow, I didn’t want to spend a lot. I thought I’d try the generic. It didn’t do anything for me. It gave me relief for a minute then it started hurting again. I used up the whole tube within hours. I ended up going back to the store and getting orajel. It gave me relief instantly for the rest of the night. I didn’t even have to apply it again. Don’t waste your time and money on this item, buy Orajel. It works.
