Equate 5 Blade Cartridges for Women, 6 Count

I love love love this product!! I was in need of razors and was buying cheap razors that didn't really work to put off buying a good razor that would be very over priced. Most razors for women that work average between 12 to 20 dollars!! And you use them every day so they need to be good and cheap. I found these Equate five blade razors and fell in love. They work great, give a nice shave and only cost about $1.30 a razor. You cant beat that and the handle which you purchase once and comes with a shower suction holder and two refills only costs about $9.00. You do the math. I would highly recommend this product!!!

Just as good as leading name brand for a fraction of the cost . Even with a coupon this was still cheaper.

I don't normally right reviews but I feel like my experience with this product warrants it. First off to the people who are cluelessly assuming this fits the Venus razor head and giving the product a poor rating, stop it! This is a good product. It says "compare to" not "replacement for"! It will fit the Schick Quattro razor handle if you have that already or a razor with the same connection to the razors heads. I've included a picture for those curious. I couldn't find the equate razor handle for these replacement blades in any store near me (my guess because they are selling so well). Instead I purchased the Schick Quattro handle and the razors fit perfectly! Nice shave! The Walmart manager graciously price matched the Quattro handle for me and sold it for the same price as the equate handle when I explained that I've been trying to buy the handle but all the stores in my area were out of stock despite online inventory saying otherwise.

I love the Equate razor and these blades are excellent . I will never go back to Venus again due to the price comparison and personally I think I get a better overall shave with the Equate brand. Be aware these blades are not compatible with the Venus handle, only the Equate one. So make sure that is the one you purchase.

The claims "Compare To" and "Compatible With" are two different things. This product is NOT manufactured to fit the Gilette Venus razor. The claim "Compare To" is comparing the QUALITY of shave that you would receive. It is not suggesting that the refills are COMPATIBLE with the Venus handle. Before you give the product a bad rating, make sure you didn't misunderstand what the packaging states. Failure to understand the claims does not reflect upon the quality of the product you purchased.

These fit ok but I wouldn't say that the lubricant strips are actually doing anything. The blades seem a bit - dull? I can't seem to get a close even Shave. Sorry but I was hopeful about these. Unfortunately now, not so much.

As the review below me states that these blades do not fit the Venus embrace, notice how it says COMPARE to that brand and not this is a replacement blade. Dont poorly rate something when you dont buy the proper handle for the blades and dont assume that they were specifically designed for another brand. I will provide an updated review of how the razor with the actual handle works.

Blades rust after a couple days in the shower.

The previous reviewer hit the nail on the head with this, "Although the box states "compare to Venus Embrace" do not make the mistake that I did and think that these are the Walmart generic form of Venus replacement blades. THESE DO NOT FIT VENUS RAZOR HANDLES they just have 5 blades like the Embrace." I went back to Walmart to find the handle that fits these only to find there aren't any sold at my store. I also purchased a new Venus Embrace that looked like it might work, nope! So while these look like a great deal there's not a handle to use with them so they're just a waste of money!
