I took Claritin for years but it stopped working so my doctor suggested this and it works great. I don't have to take it but once a day bc it's 24 hours extended release n I only have to take it part of the year not every day of the year cuz I have seasonal allergies..

This works just as well as Zyrtec. That is a good and bad thing. It works quickly but be careful. Long term use seems to develop like a dependence. In that I'm guessing the histamine that was blocked floods back and I get these skin rash for lack of a better word. So I pretty much take them to treat the problem they caused lol. I kind of wish I would have stuck with Benadryl. Once I started using the newer anti histamines it seemed like Benadryl stopped working. Keep this for short term use only.

works as great as the name brand. what is the name brand? lol seriously I've been buying the store brand this particular one for many yrs and it hasn't failed me. began with my pre-teen then and I started using it doesn't make you sleepy it's a small pill easy to swallow less on your wallet. why not

My daughter and i suffered from the allergies when we moved down here and everyone said to but Zyrtec. It's so expensive so i tried Walmart's Equate brand and it works awesome and considerably less. Since i need 60 tablets a month it would cost me a small fortune if i used the Zyrtec. I bought the 180 count Equate brand and it was still considerably less than the one month supply of Zyrtec for one person and i have a three month supply of the Equate brand for two of us.

These Allergy Relief pills are allergy pills for those of use with high blood pressure %26 they work as well as my other allergy medications--little if any sneezing, runny or stuffy nose. The price does vary; therefore, be sure to notice the price per pill. I've been taking these Allergy Relief pills for over 2 years %26 plan to continue doing so indefinitely. I recommend them to anyone who breathes our allergen- filled air.

I switched to these Equate tablets to save a few bucks, and they work just as well as Zyrtec for me. Taking one in the morning keeps my runny nose, sneezing, and itchy eyes under control all day. I haven't noticed any bad drowsiness, and the 45-count bottle lasts over a month. It does the job, and I'll keep buying it instead of the name brand.

It's Zyrtec and works just like it. It's not instant relief by any means (that's Benadryl's job), but it will gradually build up over time and do its job. Pills are very small and easy to swallow. Container is also pretty easy to open. A good purchase to have on hand to deal with or, even better, prevent allergic reactions of small-to-moderate size (itchy, localized hives, watery eyes, etc.).
