I always usually keep these in stock in my medicine cabinet. Well I got a new medication that actually I had an allergic reaction to and man the itching it caused was absolutely awful. My husband and I both use these allergy pills when the pollen count is bad. They work quickly and effectively. But i also just used a few pills for our dog who bit off a mole and then bit off the scab that formed over the injury because it itched. This helped relieve his itching enough so he slept thru the night, didn't irritate the wound further and allowed it to heal. (Per recommendation by his vet) They work well and are reasonably priced.

It worked for my itching however I have since learned it may soon be banned because of the risk of dementia with long term use. Probably won't buy again, used to use for allergies but may have to switch to Wal-Mart version of Zyrtec. I have tried Claratin but it knocks me out for three days.
