The effects are immediate to help cool down. Then after it starts to soothe the pain. Hoping I don't get any sunburn bad enough to use, but this will definitely help if it is bad or if there is any pain from the sunburn. Great that it can be used for ages 2 and up.
I tried the Equate Aloe After Sun Burn Relief Spray with Lidocaine, and it honestly works so well when your skin needs fast comfort after too much sun exposure. The spray delivers an immediate cooling sensation that helps calm the burning feeling almost instantly, and the lidocaine provides noticeable pain and itch relief without irritating my skin. I love how easy the spray application is — it covers the skin evenly without needing to rub sensitive areas, which is a huge plus when your skin feels tender. The formula feels lightweight, absorbs quickly, and doesn't leave a heavy or greasy residue. The aloe also helps keep the skin feeling hydrated and refreshed while it recovers. The packaging is convenient with a secure lid, making it easy to carry for beach trips or vacations. Plus, it has very little scent, which I appreciate. Overall, this is an affordable and effective after-sun essential that soothes, cools, and helps make sunburn much more manageable. Definitely a must-have for summer or any outdoor days!
I have fair skin so I get a lot of sunburns as a redhead and this stuff is amazing. It's cooling and takes away the sting from the burn. Love that it's a spray bottle and it feels nice on the skin not sticky. Scent isn't overpowering either. My only complaint is the cap. It was hard to get off.
I do not support Walmart, but did receive this item to review for free. Overall, it's a decent product. It could be a bit stronger, but it does provide a sense of relief for sunburns. It was a bit difficult to spray initially, but I am hopeful that will get better over time. I use Biofreeze often, so thankfully the scent wasn't quite as strong.
I received this complimentary in exchange for my honest review. I have always enjoyed using Equate products, good value for the price. This aloe after sun burn relief spray will come in handy in this Texas heat. There's times in the summer that my kids and I get a little sun burned on our nose. We've used the gel before and that doesn't leave any residue or cause irritation. Im sure the spray will result in the same affect. When I sprayed this the scent was light which I appreciate. Thank you!
This spray feels soothing and refreshing on sun-exposed skin, and I like that it's infused with aloe to help moisturize while calming irritation. The cooling effect is nice, but the spray dispenses too much product at once. The cap is also very difficult to pull off, which could be challenging for people with small or limited hand strength. I received this product complimentary from Influenster to try and review.
Having fair skin I have had my share of sunburns ,most quite painful. My grandmother would go get a piece of aloe and apply the gel(little messy ) and most of the time it did help a lot quickly. So when I saw Equate had an Aloe Sunburn Relief After Sun product., I knew I needed to try it. . The cooling spray is easy to use to direct to the exact places needed .The active ingredient is 0.5%Lidocaine ,offers temporary relief of the pain and itch of sunburn ,but also scrapes, minor burns and insect bites. It does work quickly and relief lasted a long time. This topical analgesic can be used for children as young as two years ,so very mom friendly. Recommend to family and friends to use when ever they need temporary topical relief .
Well it's January and we've been having an ice storm so there's no risk of sun burn in the near future. But I have discovered that you can use this for more than sunburn. It's pretty good at soothing itch or discomfort from minor scrapes and scratches or if you get a little burn while cooking. The lidocaine and aloe are a great combo to give some relief. I'm sure it will be very good on actual sunburn. It's a good size so it will last a bit so when summer comes if myself or a family member do get sunburn I'll grab it and start spraying. All in all it's a handy thing to have around the home . I use various equate products a lot so I really like the brand.
I love that this is a spray because when you have a painful burn, the last thing you want to do is rub thick gel on it. This mist goes on cool and light without being sticky. It works just well to relieve sunburns after following my kid that went bicycle around the neighborhood. It's also easy to use on hard-to-reach places like your back, and the 6.3 oz bottle lasts a long time. Great value for the price. Just the cap that I don't like, it needs some energy to press and pull it out and the cap was flying away the first time I tried to pull it out.
I received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion and i got to say i enjoyed the relief that it gave me after a full weekend under the sun but i cant give it a full 5 stars because of the fact that that cooling feeling and relief comes from lidocaine. The packaging and the spray is very comfortable and easy to use all over the body on yourself and with little you cover a lot. Really helps with that annoying sun burn heat and pain and insolation feel!
