I used this chair after my surgery and it helped me in my recovery. It is a "no frills" chair, but it gets the job done. Unless instructed by your doctor or physical therapist to purchase a different type of chair, then I would recommend buying this chair for use in the shower.
Bought this for my bathtub to be able to sit and shower it's a bit tight for a regular bathtub but it fits a standard tub. I recommend turning it sideways to dry and prevent water staying inside legs and persevering the chairs original condition. I'm a cancer patient so this is very helpful!
It's sturdy, and narrow enough to fit in my apartment tub easily, while still having a good seat. Not too heavy, and I like the handle cutouts for lifting the chair.
decent value, seems like a fair price. i’d say the color is more gray if you’re concerned about aesthetics. the instructions are easy to follow so read them carefully and you won’t have issues with anything poking your bottom or uneven legs. the materials and construction aren’t the highest quality but will suffice for my needs. i have a sprained ankle and will use this short term. if you’ll be using this long term and you’re closer to the max weight supported, i would opt for a higher quality option.
This chair is marked 350 lbs. I am 280 lbs, on a bad week.. I was comfortable with that weight gap. I broke my ankle, so I had to sit on one side and turn/slide into place. The legs on the outside have spread wider than they originally were. This was a shot at my ego but more importantly this will put your family/friend/self at risk for injury. I would not purchase again and would not recommend.
Item received resonably fast, was delivered from Walmart not an outside supplier. Was not able to visually see item before receiving. Upon opening the package I was able to see the footing would not function correctly in the shower. The unit was never assembled or completely unpacked. I requested a return, as per Walmart policy this item is non returnable. As a Walmart member I will have to consider if I should consider renting my membership upon rental date. Very simply put if you dont meet the needs of the customer someone else will. I have reached out to Walmart and have had no response from customer service obviously they do not value me as a customer. I strongly discourage the purchase of this item from Walmart. I waited to share my experience in this review trying to give Walmart an opportunity to correct this problem. Walart has not stepped forward with any effort to correct this problem
Do not waste your money on tnis item. It is not sturdy poor quality. It definitely can not hold 350 pounds. I didn’t read tbe fine print and this item is not returnable. Went to store and called customer service no luck. I guess I Will donate. Not sure if tjis chair will be of any Use to anyone. In the meantime I’m out $40
Poor quality. Screwed it together and the middle screw was coming out on the top of the chair so would be poked by the screw while seated. Not eligible for a return never even used it because it is such a bad quality disabled shower chair for my mom.
didnt even last 6 months. the legs started to bend and my wife only weighs 150 pounds, has almost thrown her into the shower glass door several times. took it out of the showers to check the shower chair and found that the cross bar part of the legs was starting to break(tear).
I am very disappointed with this product. I bought this hoping that it would help with being able to take showers. I liked the idea of this chair having the back on it and that it had multiple levels that the chair could be adjusted for different heights. I needed it to be set for a higher level. It was really not stable when I had the legs set to the highest level. The 3 levels that you can adjust this chair to be set at the tallest heights are unstable and the chair does not feel safe. I regret buying this item.
