Equate Children's 2-Second Digital Thermometer

Got, I have a favorite thermometer when the babies I'm running a fever, so why not get the best?

I love the Equate 2 second children's digital fever thermometer. It works quickly and the screen is so easy to see. Even the fussiest kids, or babies can stand the 2 seconds it takes to take their temperature. There's 3 modes to which you can get a reading. there's a flexible tip and it even saves your last temperature reading. I love that they provide some probe covers as well. With cold and flu season upon us and the kids back in school this thermometer has been a Godsend. I highly recommend it.

As a parent with young children, nothing can be more valuable than having an accurate digital thermometer that gives a quick response. My old thermometer had started to become unreliable so I needed to replace it before the cold and flu season was in full swing. I ordered this Equate Children's Digital Thermometer from Walmart. The package included the thermometer with a CR2032 3Volt battery already installed, a hard plastic clear thermometer case to protect the thermometer's tip, 5 disposable probe covers and an instruction sheet. The thermometer was ready to go right out of the package. My favorite feature of this thermometer is the fact that it only takes two seconds to get a reading. This is perfect for using it with a sleeping child because it is easy to get a reading without disturbing them very much or fully waking them up. It is also great for kids who hate having their temperatures checked and squirm around a lot during readings. I also like the large bright backlit display so I can clearly see it without having to turn on the lights if my child is sleeping. The light on the display changes color to alert me if a high fever is detected. It has a green light for a normal temperature and a red light for a high temperature. This thermometer has an oral, rectal or underarm setting so it gives me several options for where I want to test. It has pictures on the display that coordinates with the testing location. I like the flexibility of the probe tip so it makes using this thermometer very comfortable especially while using it rectally. I also like that it recalls the last reading I took which is help when I need to call or video chat with my doctor's office. This thermometer has settings for displaying temperatures in either Fahrenheit or Celsius readings. The thermometer measures about 5 inches and is super lightweight which makes it perfect to stow in my diaper bag or purse so I always have it handy when needed.

It's fast and accurate once you figure out how to switch the mode. I must say I never read the directions and I figured it out by clicking the mode button a few times. I have already had to use it several times with the kids back to school. I like that it has a protective cover. No issues.

My favorite part about this thermometer is that it is very easy to use and easy to change the settings. The three settings has an an arrow pointing to the part of the body so you will know which setting you are using. This is exactly what I needed especially since we are headed into the cold months.

Works extremely fast! You can use it 3 different ways, underarm, rectal or mouth. Easy to toggle and set which mode you want to use. Comes with 5 sleeve covers. Worked exactly as described, in 2 seconds! Comes with a cover when not in use. Makes getting a temp from a toddler super easy and fast! Love!!

This thermometer works like a charm. It comes with the protective coverings in the box and the thermometer itself is soft and of good quality. The display is big and comes with a mode for different settings for mouth, underarm and rectal. It's perfect!

I really wanted to love this digital thermometer. As a mom to two young kids it’s hard to take their temperatures mainly because they won’t sit still. This thermometer indeed takes a reading fast and in two seconds. The issue is the accuracy of the reading. It does not match up to the ear thermometer and forehead thermometer I own which I believe to be much more accurate.

The worst design thermometer I've ever used. First, the numbers are facing so you cannot read it in your mouth. That doesn't matter, though cause you can barely read the display from that angle. But the stupid stupidest part is that after it reads, it gives you maybe one to two seconds to pull it out and look at it. It's impossible to look at it with the light on

It can't make up it's mind it either shuts down and doesn't take temp or gives wildly varying and definitely inaccurate temps within seconds of each temp taken.
