Just as good as name brand
I use the Equate Children's Cough Cherry flavor liquid for my five kids (ages 6-10) and it is great at stopping those nagging coughs that just won't stop. I had never heard of this product (same ingredients as Robitussin) until I worked on a Navy Hospital Ward and had a cough that was so annoying that one of the Doctors ordered the Corpsman to give me a dose of this. STOPPED THAT COUGH DEAD!!! Have used this since--and the Equate brand is every bit as effective as the name brand, and lets me keep a little extra money for other necessities.

This helps extremely well with colds, coughs and chest congestion, also runny nose wans wateyr eyes. This is one of my go to's that I only use always each and everytime we get sick

horrible taste
the taste of this is so horrible i, an adult, couldn't even finish one dose. maybe it'll scare the cough out of you it tastes so bad
