Equate Cornstarch Baby Powder with Aloe and Vitamin E, 22 oz

I have been buying this baby powder for years, but the one I picked up Nov 25 and just opened on Dec 15 had the most horrible smell, like it had been sitting on the shelf for 20 years. Order a few items and another baby powder for delivery, hoping that was just a bad batch, but the one delivered today was just as disgusting of a smell. I asked my husband what he thought just to be sure, and he agreed it was terrible! Had to get a refund! Not sure what changed, but whoever manufactures this product had better go back to the way it was previously, because I can't imagine anyone wanting this scent anywhere near them.

They must've changed the formula on this baby powder because it is not the same as it used to be. It does not smell good and it's not soft and silky. It's grainy and terrible. I'm extremely disappointed with this product. And I have purchased it many many times over many years.

The product has changed and NOT for the better. It smells terrible and feels like sandpaper in my skin. I don't know if Walmart Equate, has changed the supplier but this stuff in NASTY. I have used this same powder for years, but this recent purchase is very DISAPPOINTING. It should feel soft, like cornstarch. Instead it feels like it is made with sand! Don't waste your money on this!!!

I have used and loved this powder for several years, but this time the smell and texture has completely changed. It smells more like the Gold Bond medicated powder scent to me, but worse because GB doesn't turn my stomach like this scent. It also doesn't feel as soft on the skin, not even sure how to describe the texture. Scratchy and clumpy maybe? I don't know if the formula changed or the wrong product was put into the container? There were some minor changes to the packaging, including the placement of fragrance further up the ingredient list and removal of the reference to being dermatologist and pediatrician tested. It's just awful, and I can't stress enough how perfect it has always been!

I thought I was buying the same baby powder I normally do, it looks exactly the same in the photos, but when I opened it the scent was overwhelming. I didn't know I needed to read the ingredients each time I bought this because this particular one has fragrance added and it's a very gritty feeling to it. Do NOT buy this for your baby please. it gave me a headache immediately.

Walmart has revamped their 100% Cornstarch Baby Powder recently, and IMHO, it's the worst. The Cornstarch Baby Powder used to be soft and silky, now it feels so GRITTY and DIRTY. And the smell is anything but pleasant. Even my hubby commented that it smells like an old MUSTY and MOLDY HOUSE. Their Lavender scented Cornstarch Baby Powder is definitely NOT BETTER. I've been using the regular Cornstarch Baby Powder for years, but now I am now actively looking for another maker or variety of Cornstarch Baby Powder.

The UPC is not the same and the formula is different. It looks nearly identical on the ingredients, but it now smells AWFUL. This now smells like a muscle rub, that weird minty medicinal smell. It also doesn't seem to have quite the same texture. It would be fine if it didn't smell so AWFUL. *please note I am a Walmart associate, but purchase this item as a customer*

This is trifling … like I feel very deceived… it's not the same baby powder…the bottle is long and the fragrance is disgusting. Equate cornstarch baby powder used to smell so fresh an amazing . This new one smells like a low budget, disgusting, gas station rain water scented hand soap… ewwww. Bring the old one back immediately… and to think every..single..store..sold out… and then they bring this peoce of crap… ew. Never again… target hasn't switched up on us. Why switch the formula when the old one was perfect… I'll never get it.

There had been a change in this product. Fragrance has been added and it smells like the Parents Choice brand that I once accidentally bought. The last 2 I have bought have had this new fragrance smell and has caused my skin to itch. I will no longer be buying this brand. Not sure why it was changed when it was a good product before it was changed and now it smells like old perfume and the texture of it is different. So disappointing Walmart, this is your house brand.

Hello, anyone out there? Do not purchase this product thinking it's the same thing you've bought for the last five years. It is NOT. IT STINKS, ITS ROUGH ON THE SKIN. I don't know who came up with the idea of changing a good thing to this but they should be fired immediately. Do not use it. You will regret it.
