My skin is very dry. I combine petroleum jelly with lotion or a moisturizer. Voila the magic happens. It makes my skin soft, silky, moisturized and supple. A tad greasy, but the benefits and results are great. Good for burns and rough hands. Slather on your feet after bathing and put on thick socks for soft supple heels no pumice needed.
This item was an excellent deal, a 3 pack, and I would definitely purchase it again in a heartbeat. We absolutely love our Locust Wal-Mart. This product is excellent for mixing with moisturizers for added moisture. It is also great for dry chapped skin and overall moisturizing.
This item has a hundred uses and I needed it for my huge solar battery bank of 40 deep cycle marine Walmart battery's terminals-this jelly will prevent corrosion from forming on the post of any battery, and the corrasion prevents my solar panels accumulated electricity from entering into the battery and recharging them. They battery bank cost $4000.00 and was saved by a few tiny dollars with this jelly. It will keep your car batteries working corrosion free and your car running smoothly with a fully charged battery. Furthermore, this will extend the life of all batteries by eliminating any corrosion from forming on the battery negative and positive post. That saved me a fortune-there are so many things this will do for you.
YP twice the price for the namebrand but one in one container put the other one in the other one and tell me you can tell the difference. Just the namebrand twice expensive almost
I had a very bad allergic reaction, which caused a severe autoimmune flareup, and my lips were damaged for nearly 8 months, and the only thing that worked was to constantly apply petroleum jelly. Luckily equate comes in a very large container for a very modest price and it has helped to save my skin and supported my healing. I had been under the impression for many years that petroleum jelly was not a safe product to use on the face, but that is actually wrong. It's very pure and was the only thing that didn't increase the irritation.
This Equate petroleum jelly is a solid go-to for dry skin and minor cuts. It’s thick, moisturizing, and helps protect skin well. I like that it’s affordable and works just as good as the name brands. Perfect for keeping my skin soft and healing dry spots.
this petroleum jelly is an excellent value for the money. it is the biggest jar of petroleum jelly I have ever seen and it will come in handy for my feet at night. it's really great size I was surprised at how big it was for such a low price I would definitely recommend this product. I will never buy the little one again for the normal size one should I say as this one will last a very very long time and I am grateful for the price
Cheap, simple, and weirdly essential. It is literally just petroleum jelly… but it works for everything. Dry skin, lips, healing spots, even random “why is my skin doing this” moments. No scent, no irritation, just basic protection that gets the job done. A little greasy, obviously, but that is kind of the whole point. Not fancy at all, but one of those things you end up using way more than you expected.
Noticeably different from the leading brand, in both texture and quality. I bought this thinking it would be comparable in quality but better value for my money. Next time I would just buy the name brand instead. This has a weird texture, grainy but also very thin. I don't recommend it. Just feels like grease without any moisture-locking benefit. Use this for like, greasing mechanical parts, not for your skin...
There must be something severely wrong with petroleum jelly manufacturing right now, because over the last couple months every time I've tried to buy any (from both Vaseline and Equate) it's had an overpowering nasty rancid gasoline smell. You couldn't pay me to put this junk on my body. [And to any smart-alecks out there, yes I am aware that petroleum jelly is made from petroleum. I've been using it my whole life and it has never had any odor, certainly not one as horrible as the last 3 tubs I've had to toss. If table salt suddenly developed a stench of chlorine, people would get pretty mad about that too.]
