Equate Vaporizing Rub Ointment, 3.53 oz, Compare to Vicks® VapoRub® Active Ingredients

I am always a little skeptical about store brands when it comes to cold remedies, but this Equate version is fantastic. It works just as well as Vicks VapoRub. The camphor scent is nice and strong, it clears up congestion instantly, and it provides that classic soothing warmth. Don't waste your money on the name brand—this does the exact same job!

I read that this was good for knee pain so I decided to give it a try. It really works I was surprised. Also I read that you can use this on your feet as well for roughness on your feet. It's not a very strong smelling product that was a plus. The things you learn.

As my Dr was burning off these pesky small growths on my arm and back, she gave me a tip that works from home. Just rub on Vic's at night. It does work! More convenient than missing work etc to get the same results. Takes a bit longer, but it does work.

had a whole winter of being sick between me and the kids and this stuff definitely helped me breathe when I felt congested it's the same exact thing as the name brand Vicks vapor rub you cannot even tell the difference and it's definitely potent it it works well and definitely recommend this and paying half the price!

Mom is 78 and uses this for her dry elbows and feet. She's a diabetic and this helps her pain get relief so much. Her dry skin on elbows have improved greatly and she says her skin on feet is also soft now and not dry and doesn't get cracks in them. I use it on kids for colds, stuffiness in chest. Walmart brand has the same ingredients as name brand Vicks and is so much cheaper for us. You can also use this on doors if they creak or make any noise just put small amount on hinges and no more noise.

This works just as good as the name brand. Same smell, same feel, and it actually helps when you are congested or dealing with a cold. I have used it on the kids and myself and it does what you expect it to do. A little goes a long way and it lasts forever. It is one of those things I always want in the house, especially during cold season. No reason to pay more when this does the same thing.

So my mom and grandmother used this stuff anytime we got sick. So I get sick and I use this. Does it work? Idk, but I still use it and I think it works (maybe). Can't go against mama and grandmother.

Grew up on name brand but with tough times comes pinching Pennie's! Equate has very good, exact match ingredients to name brands. I was skeptical but try it you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I use this for the bottom of my feet most times. I have eczema and it helps the bottom of my feet. Putting it on the bottom of your feet will also help your chest and more importantly leg cramps. The price is triple what it was so I took points off for that. If I had the jars I could make it with menthol crystals and petrolium jelly so I guess I am paying for the ease of use. No need to buy the name brand as for me the cheapest option works just as well as any name brand.

I had to give this 4 stars because our house is divided. I love this but vicks loyalists arent thrilled when I bring this out so ymmv. I used it to block offensive odors, on my chest when i feel sick and on my feet for aroma therapy/self care.
