Equate Digital Thermometer – Oral, Rectal, or Underarm, 30-Second Reading

My last 30 second thermometer finally gave out so I ended up trying one of the "quick-read" types. According to that one I had a fever 24/7. After doctor's visits, I would come right home to compare temps and it was always a full degree higher than the doctor's office. The 30 second types were always the closest in accuracy to what they would register me at the hospital, so I'm sticking with these. This Equate one has been almost dead-on accurate so far, and is well worth the low price.

I was really cold and took my temperature with this thermometer, of which I have purchased 3, because they do lose power. It registered about 60 degrees. I went to the hospital and they couldn't get a reading on their thermometers. I had sepsis and was in the hospital for 3 days. The thermometer saved my life because it got me to the hospital. It worked when professional ones did not.

the only thing I did not like about this is I ordered two of them and I have been waiting and waiting and waiting for the second one and never have received it yet outside of that it's wonderful now my daughter-in-law does not have one because I ordered one for her also and I just don't have the money to buy another one but I would if I had the money by another one

Works like a charm. To all those one star reviews claiming the unit came was a dead battery due to the lo symbol. Read the pamplet the lo symbol past starting the unit is normal it indicates the unit is ready to measure your temp it does not indicate a low battery.

I was truly disappointed in this product. Sick and really need to take my temperature, but the thermometer will only go up to 97°. I double check to make sure I was following the instructions properly. Perhaps it was just this particular unit that is defective.

Its a good thermometer but, it came with a dead battery and if i knew that was going to happen i would of ordered a battery a head of time.I got it because it said it had a battery sio,when i went to use it the battery was dead right out from the new box.

94.1 was the first temperature reading and subsequent readings were somewhere between 94.1 and 96.1 (thermometer really likes that .1). It did get up to 97.1 but now it's back down 96.1. Our no-touch thermometer always 97.1 to 97.7, which is incorrect, so we got this oral thermometer which is worse than the no-touch thermometer. Will be returning.

I have a 3 year old and a 5 month old. This thermometer is a piece of garbage. It takes way too long to read, then when it finally does, the temp it says is just ridiculous. I always check at least twice if doing a temp under the arm and doing that with this thermometer was giving me different readings every time with up to a degree and a half difference between the two readings.

Absolutely garbage! It starts low and takes too long to climb to even normal body temp. I had to turn it off and back on about 4 times to even get it to 98 degrees. (It typically started at the last temp). I am feeling unwell and got to 99, but it won't go higher, and now drops back down to 95 when I restart it.

The thermometer is defective. It was received with a lo battery and yes it died after one unsuccessful use. Lost power completely and no juice. I do not feel I should have to replace the battery when I'm buying a new item.. Stated my temp was 98 when I clearly had a fever. . It is made poorly It is cheap so expect cheap
