The first pill crusher I've tried and I am amazed how easy it is now to crush hard pills into a powder. It's especially useful for adding supplements to my pups dry foods.

I have used this twice so far to pulverize several of my wife's medications. It is easy to use and grinds the pills into a fine powder. I have a weak left hand but am able to hold it well enough to do the job. I mix the powdered meds into pudding or applesauce and she's able to swallow them without difficulty.

I put 7 big pills in this crusher at once and I only had to turn the top of it a couple times and completely crushed them to almost dust. It is perfect for my senior father who can't swallow pills so he likes me to crush them and put them in his pudding.

Cheap, effective and easy to use. You don't need a lot of strength or dexterity to use this. It crushes pills easily and even stores a few in the cap if you need. Great value for the price and if it breaks in the future I will buy another one.

My first crusher finally wore out after 8 years. Great little tool for crushing dog medications. Gets the job done quickly %26 efficiently. I would suggest hand washing, to keep the pieces sealed together.

The overall design is pretty good however, the storage cap could be a little more secure and the crushing mechanism kind of repacks the powder at the bottom of the crush cup. Other than that, pretty good. Other than that, pretty good

I have tried 4-5 type of pill crushers. Although this is the best of all of them, it does not last very long. I think the plastic dulls and it gets harder to crush pills. I even put it in the dishwasher when it gets dull but after some time I need to get another one.

Pro. There is a little indentation on the bottom that your pill lays in and then you screw the point down hard into it for the initial crush. And then you crank it back and forth and small ridges around the point finish the grind. It can usually handle one or two pills and really can make fine dust. It is true that it is easy to grip. it has a see-through bottom so you can see when you are done grinding, price was good for a simple use. Easy to pour the pill dust out into your juice. It does not stick to the bottom and no blade to stick to. Con: I have pain in my thumbs down my wrists. You have to turn it very hard to get the initial crush and then crank it back and forth a number of times to grind it to powder. This is a killer for me. (I am an older woman) I really had to screw it down very hard for the initial crack of a very hard small pill. I could not do all 6 pills at once. One other pill, the aspirin, has a hard shell and I could never seem to get it ground up even by itself. You have to spin and spin the lid to open it and close it. Easy to spin but just an awfully lot of turns. I studied electric pill grinders, but I remembered that I used to have a small electric coffee grinder. It works fine. I have to shake it to get the pills to bounce up into the blade and let it run a bit to get all the tiny pieces of the aspirin. It also sticks some to the inside, but I think that is probably from the old coffee oil from the coffee beans. I'll wash it. I just used an old camel-hair brush to get it out. The electric is so much easier on my hands and shoulders.

Larger pills are very difficult to crush. The whole purpose of the device is to crush the larger pills and it is very difficult to get them crushed successfully.

I needed this pill crusher to use to crush pills for my dog to hide in their food, but it is so hard to twist and then it's even harder to un- twist it. I'm 60 but I still have strength and this is hard to use. I bought the cheapest one, so I got what I paid for.
