Very easy to take a child's or adults temperature without disturbing them. Accurate reading with large lighted screen. Works well with people that refuse to hold still for oral or ear reading. Great for people in the medical field that do not want to disturb the patient. Would recommend this for anyone.

This thermometer has been very accurate at reading temperatures and is easy to use. All you have to do point at the forehead and squeeze the trigger on the handle. And the temperature displays on the LCD screen. It will display it in green, yellow or red. And if it's green that's normal, yellow is a slight fever and red means you have a high fever. There is also a surface mode feature that allows you to check the temperature of foods and liquids. As well as ambient room temperature as well. So, it measures temperature three different ways. I really love that it's a non-contact infrared thermometer because, it's much more sanitary and safer than the typical oral temperatures. Or even the ear thermometer ones too. I have been using this daily and have been impressed with the accuracy of it. I would highly recommend it!

The bright big digital display is very easy to read, the big numbers really stands out. The thermometer is accurate and reliable. Over all great value for the $$.

We are dealing with strep and with as low as some of its temp readings have been we should be dead of hypothermia or something else. I did it numerous times on my forehead and my sons following the instructions given. It read 93, then 96. then 97 several times on both of us. I may as well let my son use it to play pretend doctor games with his stuffed animals with it because its useless for a realistic sick scenario. Sending it back i should have gotten the other brand i saw. I also even did a side by side comparison with a classic under the tongue type thermometer and it showed i am feverish from strep throat whereas this brand of no touch thermometer showed me as not alive being it was to low a temp for a living human being.

I wanted to love this. Unfortunately, it never reads a temperature above 86 degrees. I've given it time but we have been through a couple fevers and it's not been accurate once. My child can be burning up and hot to the touch and the thermometer will read no higher than 86 degrees.

This thermometer seemed okay out of the box. It feels cheap and the constant need to reset to body temperature is frustrating, but I could deal with that. When compared to 2 other thermometers, the temperature is off by 8-10 degrees. Maybe it is just this particular one. Overall, I have been very disappointed with this and ended up throwing it in the trash given the inaccuracy of measurement.

Not accurate. Followed instructions and it never within 2 degrees of the actual temperature and it was checked against two other thermometers known to be accurate.

It does not come on. Tried two different sets of batteries. The ones that came with the device and some Duracell batteries that I have. Since it was delivered, I'm not sure how to go about returning it.

Does not measure temperature correctly. Person had a temp of 102.4 %26 this thing read as 98.7.... used ot several times against another infrared and oral and it was always way way off. DO NOT BUY!
