It works!

Shelley July 22, 2025

If you want a relaxing bath in epsom salt, this is the one to use. Not only is the aroma pleasant, your skin will be so soft, it soothes your muscles and helps eliminate pain. Why would you want to pay more for the brand name when you can get the same results from the Equate brand!

My favorite scent out of all of them

Lisa April 2, 2026

As a person who suffers from eczema and has terrible skin problems during the winter time, especially this seems to be the only scented Epson salts that doesn't irritate my skin issues. I just wish that it wasn't as expensive because it's not a lot considering how much you really have to use and this size bag only lasts me a week if I'm lucky so I wish the price was a little bit better but I love the private. The Smell is amazing and it leaves a nice moisturization to my skin or some of the other scented ones kind of lead more of a residue make me a little itchy.

It's a hit with me!

yesterdaysgirl August 7, 2022

I really like the Equate Epson salt for several reasons. First, I am sensitive to smells, and this one has a mild but noticeable scent that is not overpowering like so many fragrances are, these days. I love this particular scent, Shea Butter and Almond oil. Just a subtle scent and smells so good. Also, if you are prone to swelling, for instance from too much salt intake, then soak in this for 20-30 minutes and your swelling will go down... great for bloating, or if you're on your feet too much, like me, and have swollen ankles. For sore muscles, put a couple of cups in your hot bath water and soak, it really does a great job at soothing the pain. I love it for my neck and shoulder pain. I use Epson salt a few times a week in my bathwater, it really does make a huge difference. This is cheaper than the name brands, and it works just as well.

Relaxing and with Fresh Smell

DRMS September 9, 2022

I always use Epsom Salt in my tub. My doctor told me that I should for detoxing and cramps in my legs. The minute I opened the bag I was in love with the very gentle smell. It didn’t smell artificial like the other brand I typically use. I have a lavender scented from a different brand and it was not as relaxing, by far, as this bag from Equate. I use less than I normally would use. My bathroom now smells fantastic and so do I! My skin feels soft too. I am going to buy this particular Equate Epsom Salt with Shea Butter and Almond from now on.

A delightful and relaxing home spa experience!

BlueSky August 6, 2022

Equate Epsom Salt Shea Butter & Almond Oil Wow - even better than I hoped! In the past, you’ve probably used Epsom salts in a bath to soothe muscles and relax your whole body - but have you ever tried SCENTED Epsom salts while you soak? I never had! I have really been missing out, because these scented Epsom salts are a taste of heaven! If you want stress relief - this is a perfect, easy solution. The moment I opened the package, the delicious, warming, soothing scent of these shea butter and almond oil Epsom salts wafted towards me. I could not wait to try them out in our bath. And I was not disappointed, either! Everything from the heavenly scent to the smooth, moisturizing, silky feel of the Epsom salt bath was a treat from start to finish. The bath was also not drying to my skin because of the shea butter and almond oil extracts in the mix. I was tired and had sore aching muscles before the bath - but not afterwards! As you likely know, Epsom salts are magnesium sulfate. Using Epsom salts is like creating your own little mineral bath - like a hot springs - in your own home. Your skin soaks in the magnesium and it relaxes the stress of the day right away. For your own personal spa at a very reasonable price, these scented Epsom salts just can’t be beat!

Perfect....if you like floral scents

DesertRat August 12, 2022

I use epsom salts on a regular basis, so I was eager to give this one a try. In my opinion, this product doesn’t smell like shea butter or almond oil. Instead, the smell is somewhat floral — it reminds me of a cherry blossom scented product that I used in the past. If you like floral scents though, this epsom salt can double as a fragrance — the scent stays on your skin for hours! This product is also lightly moisturizing. Light enough to not feel greasy afterwards, but just enough to make your skin feel comfortable. I soak in epsom salts once a week as part of an acne treatment regimen: * Witch hazel applied after bathing to all acne prone areas * African black soap (every day or every other day) * Epsom salt bath soak for 20-30 minutes once or twice a week Fun fact: I’ve also used epsom salt soaks to treat headaches — seems to help 50% of the time! Note: Don’t get your hair wet with epsom salt bath water — epsom salt will make your hair stiff and straw-like. Great for your skin, not so much for your hair. :) (just noticed the option of using this product as a body scrub -- see picture. I'll have to give it a try!)

Epsom salts baths often make my skin feel dry. The addition of shea butter makes my skin feel silky smooth.

Equal to name brand, get this!

Fwhitman August 29, 2024

This is equal to the name brand. This smells so good. It’s subtle, but nice. It’s more gender neutral too. I’ve tried the name brand and this one and there is no difference. Get this if you are wanting to save a bit.

I love the scent and the salts dissolve very well. I use it to soak my feet often to help with my toes cramping at night. My only issue is that the reseal feature does not work, so I highly recommend you have an airtight container to pour them into and store them

Would pay $1 extra for Dr. Teal’s

Aurora March 15, 2023

Walmart didn’t have the Dr. Teal’s Shea butter w/almond oil in stock. So I decided to give the equate version a try. The Dr. teals brand is far better quality than the equate brand. The equate brand is not moisturizing at all. It doesn’t seem like I used anything at all in my bath. I might as well have just bought the plain bath salts. I strongly buying the Dr. teal’s Shea Butter and Almond oil if you truly want to feel your skin moisturized. Dr. Teal’s is definitely worth paying the extra dollar for the added moisture because you don’t even have to use lotion after your bath. With the Dr. Teal’s brand you can actually see the almond oil on the surface of the bath water. The Equate salts are just okay and don’t moisturize. I guess having the equate brand in your bath is better than nothing.
