This product has changed. We do not like it. It gets stuck easily. It's uncomfortable unlike the way it used to be. This is a tape that shreds/separates. We've bought it many times in the past and liked it but sadly, I can't buy it any more.
I used to appreciate this particular kind of floss. Unfortunately it was out of stock for a while. But since its return, this is not the extra comfort floss. This stuff is extra wide and difficult to use. Does not glide smoothly at all. It seems like the regular floss and therefore, the wrong product was packaged under extra comfort.
I would have always given this 5 stars BUT YOU CHANGED THE PRODUCT! The material is different and plastic and NOT the same as it always had been! Why not let people know that it's a different product. I thought maybe it was a fluke and bought more. So now I've wasted money multiple times to find the old one in the same packaging.
I have used this item for years and they were the best. My last order the floss is so thick and no wax and shreds in between the teeth and almost broke my teeth and crowns trying to get the floss out. I only had this happen once in all the years I have purchased it. Very dangerous, unless you want to lose your teeth(:
Horrible change! I HATE this floss now and will never buy again. There was no warning in the package that they'd changed it. It is ROUGH, PAINFUL and risks DAMAGING my teeth! It will not fit between my teeth like the old floss did. This was the alternative to the more expensive brand of satin floss, but it has changed, too. There was literally no other floss that was safe for my teeth except these two brands and now NO floss is safe!
Not sure if the manufacturer changed the material but this item is not for sensitive gums. If you have sensitive gums do not purchase this item! It will cut you up, and it shreds apart way too easily! Not sure if bad quality control on the manufactures end, or if they changed the material.
Very disappointed that Walmart changed my usual floss that I used to love. They now make it a ribbon type, which I hate because it cuts into the gums . If you are selling this style it should be labeled as such. Not for me! The cheaper equate floss that you sell also, comes apart. It's a shame you changed!
Product changed with no notice. Now feels like the free old school floss from the dentist's office at a premium price . It also shreds easily during use. Others have mentioned this is due to the removal of PFAS, unfortunately the new product formulation isn't nearly as usable. No idea if the name brand is similarly affected.
This used to be my favorite floss after Oral B changed their Glide floss, but now Equate has made the same mistake. This stuff is absolute garbage and is unbelievably springy and plasticky feeling. I didn't know how particular I was about floss until opening my most recent order and realizing how bad it was.
Equate changed the waxed floss string to a flat unwaxed string that resembles a fishing line, it's awful and not for human use. The prior product was great for those of us with tight spaces, this is difficult to use and shreds, feels like a fishing line. I purchased multiples and Walmart is too far for me to return. Bring the old product back please!
