Good alternative to the glucose tablets!! I feel these work faster because they are coated in sugar which makes the blood sugar levels raise more efficiently and faster. Plus they taste a lot better tablets and/or the glucose liquid. Popping them in your mouth in the middle of the night is a lot more convenient than getting up and eating a meal for people like myself whose glucose levels tend to tank at nighttime while trying to sleep.
I'm a Type 1 diabetic and I love these if I'm having a low blood sugar, and for pre-Zumba class. 3 gummies = 9 grams carbo and I need to bring my glucose to > 200 mg/dl pre-class so that I'll end up at around 70 mg/dl post-class. The container fits in my gym bag in case I'm too low after class They are much easier to eat that the chalky glucose tab. The only thing I marked down is 1 point off for sugar sprinkles left on my fingers and clothes. But I solved that by keeping toothpicks stuck to a few in the container so that they go straight from container to mouth!
As a diabetic, these are my go to. They're way better than those chalky ones. They taste delicious. I can't eat them by the handfuls, but of course, you can't, I love them
I have Type 2 Diabetes and wear a glucose sensor and have recently had a problem with my glucose level going lower than it should in the middle of the night. These gummies work right away to raise my glcose.
Being a T1D I use these to treat my low blood sugars. I take 5 Gummies, 15 grams carbs, 15-15 rule. I use these and glucose tablets, it changes/gives me different options to use.
From a Type 1 diabetic, this is a lifesaver- quite literally! These are so easy to eat in the middle of the night when my sugar plummets in comparison to the chalky sugar tabs. Highly recommend
I love having these delivered to my home because when I'm at the store, they never have them in, but I can order them and then I get them. Thank you so much for these. I need them because I am a diabetic and lots of times I drop low and they are a lifesaver. Thank you so much for having these available to us thank you bye bye-bye.
these are such a better option to the hard glucose tabs, in fact they taste quite tasty! I've looked on Amazon and have found glucose gummies being sold for $60 a bottle!!! this Equate Walmart brand of gummies goes for $5.67.... not real cheap but also not $60
Have tried other glucose gummies from Walgreens and Amazon. The price is right, and do increase glucose in my blood, by taking 2 or 3 and waiting 15-20 minutes. Gummies will not give immediate results, so be careful!
I have frequent low blood sugar and usually I've been ordering the gummies from Amazon but they are 9.99/bottle and these are ½ of that! I was expecting them to taste horrible but they actually taste good. The only thing I disagree with is it is recommended to take 15 grams of glucose when your blood sugar is dropping. These are 9 grams each of carbs and the recommended serving is 3...that's 27 grams which is way too much when your blood sugar is ping ponging back and forth.
