Equate Minoxidil Topical Solution USP, 5 Percent, Extra Strength, 2 fl oz

When other Hair Growth Serums, even the well-known Pink one, weren't working to grow my hair back as quickly as I would have liked, from chemo several years ago, I did my research, and Minoxidil was the effective ingredient that kept coming up in my search. I decided to Walmart's Equate brand Men's Minoxidil, because it's more cost effective. I tilt my head back, and run the dropper through my entire scalp, not rubbing it in. I began seeing new growth within the 2nd bottle. I'm on my 3rd bottle, and see half-inch hair sprouting throughout my whole head! Needless to say, I'm thrilled, and will continue using!

I never wanted to try it because of the price tag of branded products, so the Equate brand was well within my budget. We followed the instructions on the box by placing 1 mL with the dropper in the vertex area twice daily. I can see the hair starting to grow.

I was dealing with traction alopecia and nothing is been trying was working. I saw this on TikTok and figured, why not give it a try. I went in skeptical and with low expectations. To my surprise, not only does it work, it works really well. The only drawback I experienced was I did start to get fine hairs all over my face, but I'm the only person who seemed to notice it, so it's not like I turned into Chewbacca. Also, it does leave a white cast once it fully dries, but it comes off very easily. I've since started using it on my non existent eyebrows and they too are getting fuller. For $11, it is worth every penny and then some.

I waited to leave this review after using the product for about 2 weeks. The packaging says it's a month supply and I already see the outer edge moving inward. I am going to continue to use it and see what happens. So far I haven't had any problems with itch or burning.

It's easy to apply and doesn't leave my scalp feeling greasy. The price is affordable compared to other brands, which makes it a great value. I'm hopeful that with continued use, the results will keep getting better.

I appreciate that Walmart has a generic version of this that saves me money over the name brand! It's an excellent value. I also like that it is clinically proven to work, unlike a lot of vitamin supplements, creams and other nonsense that are just a waste of money. It's a good, effective product at a great price!

Comes with the bottle of solution, a dropper applicator and an information leaflet with complete instructions on how to apply and use. I like to use twice daily for best results.

This does not work for chemotherapy hair regrowth. I was told by as web medical site that Minoxidil would help. Minoxidil instructions state that is not to be used for chemo regrowth. Not a problem with the product but buyers should be aware of this.

As much as I hoped for a miracle, I don't see any changes. The product is too thin/runny. Most of it runs off the head so unsure why A) the quantity to use is suggested and B) it is not reformulated to make it thicker to stay on. Also, based upon the instructions it appears it is only expected to work in a certain area of the scalp which is both strange and concerning/ineffective/

Tall narrow light weight plastic container- with heavier plastic top “dropper” - way too easy to knock over while using. And impossible to evenly spread Minoxidil from a dropper. Squeeze too much and it runs in a drip down your head. So you “try” to touch dropper to all areas that you cannot see. Meanwhile- because the dropper is the top of the bottle - don't bump the bottle it will knock over and spill your whole purchase. Go with Foam - Spray or Shampoo - the “dropper” is a bad joke
