This is the only laxative that works for me. I have to take narcotic pain medication and this keeps me regular every day. What's unfortunate is my local Walmarts around here and three different counties never have it on the shelf. They have a UPC barcode where it goes, but they don't carry it on the shelf. Why is that?
I am a nurse, and I frequently give senna to my patients. When I started having some constipation a couple of days ago, I decided to try it for myself. It worked well for me. I took 2 tablets last night and stayed well hydrated. Today I had an easy, normal bowel movement. I'd definitely recommend this for anyone struggling with occasional constipation.
I have suffered from lifelong CIC (chronic idiopathic constipation) and this is my favorite laxative to keep me regular. It always works and doesn't ever cause me pain, cramps or diarrhea. (The other stimulant laxatives out there make me incredibly sick and cause me intense pain.) My regular maintenance dose is 3-4 tablets every night. Highly recommend!
I always go in that store down by grocery but this day I went in down on the west end to pick up my order because the app. wasn't working. But after I received very good customer service I over look that the app, didn't work. I was very pleased.
I seldom can find the 100 count at any stores! I only can find the 50cnt %26 I am so tired of it! Walmart has a good product %26 I am tired of other companies renting shelf space %26 blocking out good natural products that have no or virtually no side effects !
I am happy that at last I bought this medicine and was brought to my building. I read in the check out that $4.00 were added to my order as a tip to the driver. I also gave him another $4.00 . Also I pay the membership monthly. The total amount of the order was $25.00 . But at checkout went up to $40!!! How come went up that high?!!
Finally I found an excellent equivalent to Sennakot. I have chronic constipation. I'm a recovering heroin addict. After many attempts to get clean %26 stay clean I finally surrendered and began "medication assisted treatment" in my case that's methadone maintenance. A side affect of opiates in general is constipation (unless you're in withdraw) and a major side affect of methadone is severe constipation. (they usually don't inform patients about this) I tried stool softeners with no luck. Then Miralax %26 othet laxatives, they'd give me "the runs" finally I tried Sennakot, but it's quite expensive. But "Equate Vegetable Laxative" containing Sennosides WORKS!! It took a couple of days of taking 2 per evening %26 increasing my water intake and then things began "to move" %26 It's extremely affordable. I take 2 ea evening increased water, more veggies %26 fruit. keep cheese %26 other known items that cause constipation...low and behold I have a nice normal non straining bowel movement each day. I used to not go for a week or more at a time. I've yet to meet anyone taking methadone that doesn't have this problem. I've been spreading the word about Equate Vegetable Laxative. it's also quite gentle yet extremely effective. THANK YOU for making this affordable!
Walmart (Review, automated...) wants a detailed review for this intimately personal item. Well, I can tell you it works for the intended purpose. For the person I'm writing it for, anyway. Helpful hint, take safety precautions when doing dangerous activities. Breaking your spine, or having a spine that just simply revolts (permanently / long-term) one morning through no fault of your own, isn't the end of the world, but then you have a lot of side effects to cope with. Like...needing these intimately personal items. Still being around is a good thing, but...take precautions. Be safe. Use your noggin, and protect your noggin with a helmet, and your back with proper safety gear and harnesses for the work you're doing (even simple work). It'll be worth it in the end. Be safe and take care!
Since the pandemic days, this product has become rare. Even if I love it, what good would it do if it's rarely available?
Been taking this product for 2 years. Ordered this last bottle and the pills are not right in color and they are not working. I was originally taking 1 pill a day and 1 hasn't been working since I got this bottle and so I upped to 2 and still isn't working. Something is off with this batch.
