I have used the Equate Nicotine Transdermal Patches on and off for years. I seem to fall back into my old habit often and these get me back on track when I'm ready to try again. I don't suffer any side effects and choose the 14 mg patch instead of the whole system. It seems to work for me.
They do the job intended. Bonus that they help me manage cravings AND my personality. (Ha). They can be a little itchy in the first hour of application but it passes after that. They do the same thing that more expensive patches do. If you're trying to quit smoking or vaping, I highly recommend getting these patches.
I wish it stuck on my skin a little better, I ended up using a large bandage to help keep it on for the 24 hours. I stopped using this product about 30 days ago and still smoke, vape free. Thank you walmart for making an affordable generic to help quit.
This product definitely delivers on providing time released nicotine into your system. I use them because I needed a little help quitting cigarettes. It did a great job at removing nicotine cravings for most of the day. I did not sleep with it on. The way the patch was designed does not help it stick. The patch is kind of thick which I think doesn't make it stick well. I found that getting transdermal bandages and placing them on top of the nicotine patch helps tremendously.
I like the clear patch as it's less noticeable. It seems to work as well as other brands. I have experienced some skin irritation when I placed it on my abdomen. They stick very well. Use a lotion to help removed and there will be less discomfort.
I wasn't a heavy smoker and I started with the second step in nicotine level. 14mg. After the first couple of weeks, my cravings decreased but then if I left the patch on over night! Not good! Horrible, terrible and trauma dreams! Just don't wear over night. The side effect did mention vivid dreams are possible… that was an understatement!! lol. It was worth the nights of terror just to learn to take it off. Totally worth the risk of bad dreams to stop smoking. I have smoked off and on for 40 years and this was my first attempt with help. Been clear and free 3 months now!! Love that I don't smell anymore!! Thanks for the help and plan to never return to smoking again!
I got this because it was supposed to be the same as the name brand, but it's not. this one made me feel weird, and it seemed to be much weaker than the name brand. I can go more than 24 hours without changing my NicodermCQ, and this Equate brand didn't even last 24 hours. I'm 6ft and 200lbs in case that's helpful.
I cannot rate this product as I did not receive it. I have tried numberous website locations from Walmart or United Health Care Healthy Benefits and cannot locate my order anywhere! However, I was charged the 08/01/2025 - 04:30 AM Food, OTC and Utility Bill Credit Walmart.com Purchase 59.00 for the mystery product that I did not receive? Cant show a picture of something I never received
in my experience with trying one patch, they did not stay adhered to the skin for more than seven hours. Had to return the product, was not going to work for me. The Habitrol patches, that are not clear. Stay adhere to the skin for a good 24 hours plus.
They are too stiff, they don't apply flat to skin…all edges stay lifted so they don't stick…I have to use a band aid on top of them. Not worth the money when they fall off and you have to use several a day. See the picture how the edges lift…even with a bandaid!😫
