I could lie and say that the taste is good, but truthfully, it leaves a lot to be desired. However, with that being said, I would still take it and I still buy it because this medicine gets into my system and works very quickly and when I'm feeling bad and I need something that works quickly, this does the trick. The taste is not horrid, but it's just not it's supposed to be cherry, but there's a really medicinal strong after taste that lingers for a bit. Drinking water maybe with a little bit of lemon in it helps get the taste out quicker. Again, though the taste is a minute subject when I need something that works quickly and this does.

When Nyquil changed there formula I thought I would never find anything that would ever help me fight colds and flu again that would allow me to sleep through the night. Then I found Equate Nighttime Cold and Flu and I can take this and just after one night I already begin to feel human again by day two I feel like I can be productive and by day three I am back to normal. That is if it was really bad to start. If I catch it early sometimes I can take it and it will knock it out with just one dose in one night!

I only took HALF the amount recommended....to avoid waking up feeling drowsy with a "hangover" feeling. This is strong stuff if you take the full amount or more you fill feel really bad in the morning. Half is best and worked perfect for me.

I needed something to help me fight off a cold quickly as I was due to perform with a choir in 2 days. Normally I'd go for a similar product by a much more well known brand but it has gotten too costly to consider so, seeing this I decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised to find this product though much less expensive, not only did the same job but did a slightly better job for me.

I gave the Equate brand nighttime xold relief 4-stars on flavor because...well...it's medicine. Not terrible but the taste doesnt stop us from using it. Definitely helps when we need sleep.

This works better than the pills. It also helps me sleep while my coughing keeps me awake. Taste is yuk, but it works so I don't care. Price is better than other off brand products. I recommend.

I am always telling people that with many products, the equate brand is as good as brand name. This nighttime cold medicine works just as well as the brand name, helping the 'patient' sleep and calming the cough.

Works just as well as the name brand cold and flu medicines but with a much lower price. Why pay more when you can get Equate brands for so much less!

As an adult, this particular Equate Cold and Flu works for me. I am an older woman and have a chronic sinus/bronchial problem, and also have insomnia. My doctor has approved my use of this for a good, peaceful rest. Not needed daily. Thank goodness for Walmart products, the price is great, much better than the regular brand name. Same ingredients.

The formula has been changed and it’s very watery. But most of all it tastes horrible! Pls change it back.
