Equate Plant-Based Protein Supplement, Smooth Vanilla, 13.4 Ounces

Let's face it, all protein powder tastes nasty. I, in particular, am VERY averse to that artificial sweetener flavor that all PP's have. This one has it too, but out of the 10 options I've tried, it's the least egregious in this vanilla flavor, and for the price, this is the weekly purchase I make. If my Walmart is out of this one, I'll go to a different Walmart to get it.

I am the caregiver of a woman who due to medical issues has been unable to eat or drink. She gets her nutrition through a pre-portioned liquid supplement. The smell of food can be really difficult for her since she still craves food. I tried not eating while I am at work, but some days I need something. So, I mix some protein powder and water to keep me going until my shift ends. I appreciate the pleasant vanilla taste. Just a hint of sweetness and does not have a chemical like after-taste.

Good morning, Walmarters. This protein powder seems to be beneficial for my body. I lacked a sufficient amount of protein because I don't like red meat anymore. i think that i get protein from my England's Best eggs, from my 2% Great Value milk and other dairy products. My muscles that support my arthritic knees and left shoulder are benefiting, as well as my muscles in general. My knees feel stronger. I have far less pain in my knees. It's a wonderful thing. My hair and nails are healthy. They grow lije wildfires. My nail stylist recommended adding protein supplement to my diet. Taking her advice was the right thjng to do. This protein powder smells good. It tastes good, too. It doesn't have a dry, gritty taste. I use my protein powder in my smoothies, my orange juice, and my glass of milk. I love it. Maybe you'd like to try it.

As someone who prefers whey protein, but wanted to try something new, I was disappointed. This had such great reviews, but it's just ok. Not awful, but not terrible. Smells fantastic, does not taste like it smells. Not going out of my way to buy this unless my usual is out.

I didn't like it and couldn't hardly get the stuff down the 2-3 times I ate it. I gave it to a friend who uses plant-based protien and he said it was really good! Glad someone was happy. :) Unsure how to rate considering his rave reviews. He usually eats them plain and I tried each powder. My conclusion has been that rice protien is chalky but good. Really it's the pea protien tastes so bad to me. I like vegetables and kale so I'm really not that picky, or so I thought. This product didn't change my mind on that. I'll be sticking to whey protien.

The taste was awful! Kind of like runny, watery yellow cake batter! I personally found I got bad stomach cramps/pains from it. So, I switched from using 2 scoops to 1 scoop %26 that helped. I personally feel there are better tasting protein powders for a low price.

I wanted to use a protein powder as I am not consuming enough protein, I thought i would use this in my coffee or with almond milk. I find it mixes much better with hot beverage but the flavor is very difficult. I find it almost chemical tasting, maybe the vanilla? It tastes very artificial and just makes me not want my coffee. Will continue to try to adjust to it, but I cant see me buying this again.

Absolutely dreadful. Texture is hard to blend, doesn't give any taste of vanilla and doesn't balance out any of the other flavors in my smoothies. So bad I immediately bought a different brand. Don't know how you can get vanilla wrong. It's literally the word for basic.
