I was hesitant to buy these as I had just bought the Revlon version and they were terrible. The Revlon cuticle trimmers were so dull they tore my cuticles to shreds and left hang nails on every nail. These were sharp, easy to use, and cleaned my messy manicure right up. Highly recommend.
the people that said this thing isn’t sharp must have the nails/cuticles of a Sasquatch cause this thing CUTS. in the way it’s supposed to. also it is spring loaded or whatever… you just have to turn the little arm on the inside of the handles around so that it expands itself back after you cut.
These do their job, and I would've given five stars if they had the little cushions on the handles. I have a pair with the cushions and even though they have dulled over the years, they're still my favorite. These get the job done, but it takes longer because my hand starts to hurt after a while. Cushions would help. I don't know why they stopped selling them (same brand).
the item that I ordered is too small however I will keep it the delivery was on top of the truck it was done as it was stated in the review what I'm not happy with with this particular order is I had two other orders coming as well but instead you sent this item by itself instead of waiting to send it with one of the other orders and because you did this you charged me a shipping fee $6 and something for shipping fee when the item itself barely cost that much to begin with you could see that I had two other orders I had $100 order and another 30 some odd dollar order but you chose to send this one separately therefore you charged me a shipping fee which you could have just held it and sent it with orange juice Tang that I just received today this item that I'm referring to nail clipper came yesterday morning the six containers of Tang came today and I have another order coming with aluminum foil heavy duty box coming tomorrow or Saturday you could have held it instead of charging me the six something for shipping fee when I order something from Walmart I'm not ordering from the store I'm ordering from the warehouse in Bentonville Arkansas now if you have it locally that's great but don't charge me $6 and something for shipping when you can wait a day and put it with the same order that I have coming that qualifies for free shipping that I don't understand other than that it was put where I was asked it to put which is on top of the vehicle Hood in my carport but to charge me $6 something for shipping when the item costs six something made no sense I didn't cancel it cuz I was going to see if y'all caught it but apparently nobody in your shipping put two and two together ship it all the same house same address save the customer of dollars $6 and some change for shipping that made absolutely no sense but thank you for my orders I did receive them still have one order left I can't believe you charged me $6 and some change for a $6 item
I like it but is very sharp easy to open and close and the price for the item comparing to other places is very reasonable….
For some reason, I get hangnails frequently. Cuticle cutters usually work great for this purpose. My old cutter (that I had for almost 20 years) finally got too dull to do the job properly, so I tried to replace it with this one. NOPE! Super flimsy, oddly angled blades, and obviously cheaply made. I'll keep looking.
I had high hopes for the Equate Stainless Steel Slant-Tip Cuticle Nipper, but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. While the stainless steel looks nice and the design is comfortable to hold, the cutting performance is disappointing. The blades feel dull right out of the package and struggle to make clean cuts — I often have to go over the same spot multiple times, which defeats the purpose of having a precision tool. For the price, I expected better quality and sharper cutting action. Not something I’d reach for regularly.
I got these today and they are not sharp at all. I had to attempt to trim the same cuticle multiple times even after softening the skin with warm water. I will be returning these.
the slant on these is weird and makes it difficult to use. the sharpness was gone b 3rd use. threw them away. literally!
Had this cuticle nipper for a week when that little thin piece of bendy metal broke. Won't ever purchase this brand/type again.
