Equate Tampons with Premium Plastic Applicators, Unscented, Super Plus, 36 Count

The Equate brand tampon is the best for quick absorption, and also the most cost effective. There is no extra protection with the braided string. The tampon can hold quite a bit and fills to complete saturation in 45 seconds. The applicator almost never fails. The applicator doesn't pinch much either, but still can pinch the inner labia if you are not careful.

Applicator makes it easy to use, wrapper is easy to open, you have to learn your comfort level and if this is the right fit for you as everyone is different, depending on your flow it could be great or there could be leaks, but works great for what it is.

I don't use this product, and I'm not about to ask my girls anything about how it works or anything like that. But I will say that if there was an issue in any way Im sure they wouldn't have me purchase it time and time again.

I have spent a ridiculous amount of money on feminine products, even more so lately as my cycle comes every three weeks in perimenopause. I have tried the expensive brands, cups, and even moisture wick underwear and I come back to these tampons because they are less expensive and don't cause any leakage or mess.

I’ve been buying these ever since Kotex stopped making the Super Plus Security tampons (so about 2.5 years ago ). However, these equate tampons appear much smaller than the previous ones . They changed the box label and state the product is the same, but I believe otherwise. I tried to use about 3 or 4 and they barely held up. I had to change it by the 3rd hour to prevent leakage. I was bleeding extremely heavy and do have Nexplanon, but these worked well just a couple months ago. MANUFACTURES, COMPANIES, and EXPERTS please STOP trying to cut corners because I’m the end it’s only going to cost you more money!!!!!!

You can’t grip it. It’s hard to use because there is no grip. The finger slips every time causing so much inconvenience and especially impossible fresh out of the shower.

The applicator is total trash and renders it nearly impossible to use. There’s a huge design flaw between the shape of the applicator, the design meant to provide grip or the thinness of the plastic. If you can manage to get the applicator to function as any basic tampon should, you’re a total mess after the process. 10000% NOT worth the cost savings compared to name brand.

I’ve used these tampons since I was a teen and never had trouble until recently. They have a weird odor. They are so difficult to get in to the point it’s embarrassing and gross. And I swear they make my periods heavier. I recently switched to name brand and have had zero issues.

the applicator is absolutely terrible! the tampon itself works as it should but such a frustrating experience to insert. the plastic is soooooo incredibly flimsy it makes gripping it near impossible, it collapses in on itself and slips out of grasp, multiple times making it a horrible process. I even read similar reviews and thought it really can't be that bad can it? wrong! it was! Not worth the little bit of savings ... stick to the name brands. I'm and avid user or either Tampax or Always and will be sticking to those!!! Equate...do better! their pads are great, Tampons? absolutely not! just taking the photos it was slipping out of my fingers! It feels somewhat strong right out of package but once that plunger is engaged (as shown in pics) and the grip area is hollowed, it is just junk.

I wanted to try this brand hoping to save money, but I ended up throwing the whole box away! First, the grip on the applicator is difficult to hold. But the real issue is that the second one I used had black spots all over it. I cannot say for certain since I didn't exactly have it tested, but it looked very much like mold! This was a brand new box purchased the day before and just opened a few hours prior (and stored in a dry location). The packaging was not noticeably damaged on the box or wrapper. I immediately took a handful out of the box to check others. I did not found any more spots, but one of them had no removal string at all! At that point, at least 2 out of 6 were at best damaged and at worst, dangerous to use. I will not be buying this brand again.
