Equate is our go to brand for so many things it seems. Why pay more when you get the same effectiveness for less cost? We use this sunscreen and it works the same as more expensive brands and we go through so much in the summer it's helpful for us to not spend an arm and leg for sunscreen.
This is rated high as far as sunscreens and it is very inexpensive. Like many sunscreens, it is more oily than most lotions. Went out during the day for an hour and didn't burn. It is working because ordinarily I would get sunburned without protection.
Consumer Reports is right, this stuff is the best! It works, and lasts, as well or better than Coppertone Sport or Banana Boat. I'm blond & burn very easily - this stuff allows me to be in the sun for 4 hours! It takes a little rubbing to get it to absorb into your skin, but it doesn't feel greasy or sticky after you apply it.
This sunscreen: Equate Ultra Protection Sunscreen Lotion, SPF 50 got the best rating from Consumer Reports July 2013 issue, so that's why I bought it. Also, FYI sunscreens only last for about 3 years.
This product came highly recommended to me. I agree! It does the job of protecting and the price is fantastic. I just purchased 5 tubes of the sunscreen because I don't want to run out of it. I had to order it on Walmart.com because the store was sold out of it. Very popular. I love it and recommend it. I have heard it is the best sunscreen on the market and I agree!!
Great product for price. Great for summer sun protection that is just like Coppertone but way cheaper.
Costs much less than other products of the same nature. Goes on like any other suntan lotion (not oily) and covers well without undue messiness. As with any such product, actual results will only show if I never get skin cancer.
Consumer Reports were "RIGHT ON" when they rated this a best buy for protection and price. Have used this product at the pool where I live and it has done a tremendous job protecting my fair skin from burning. Would recommend this Sunscreen Lotion to all my friends. HAA
It's cost effective and works well best I can tell for a fair-skinned and freckled SENIOR. A challenge to find on the shelf, but available for store delivery on the website.
The sunscreen we brought on our vacation was not as good as we had hoped. My husband got this and I was happy with the coverage and the protection. Our biggest gripe is that the lotion stains our clothes orange and there is no way to get that out. So a lot of our tee shirts and short now have rusty looking orange stains where the clothes touched our skin where the lotion was applied.
