It work good, better than i thought, it's boiling water and the vapor come up, so far it work great, i noticed that boiling water in long time can affect the room temperature, i feel like it hoter than the living room, but my room is already hot so i have big fan that open 24/7, that's why i need humidifier, but combined those two is pretty goodd! ‼️ do not put your hand on top of the place the air go out, it's hott ‼️ im accidentally fill water while it still on and it make me hurt a little, not enough to burn my hand but still!!! Recommend to put it a litte high, like on the shelves or anywhere that high but enough to reach to refill I fill it 3/4 of the water tank from 12am to 8pm and he water level is reduced by half, there's 3 hours that i put it on high, the remains time is on low Im really scared that it will leak, but 8 hours working fine and nothing touch it, i think it will be fine overnight I also got the fish thingy that suppose to be absorbing the bacteria i think, im not sure is it working but i hope there's no algae or mold
I gave this four stars instead of five because of all of the small pieces that need to be disassembled and cleaned. If you leave it for more than one day, the heating element produces quite a bit of mold and debris. It does come with a brush, which is nice, however, the competitor model I have, has three fewer parts, and is much easier to clean.
Wow! I've had a lot of humidifiers over the years, but this is the first one I really liked right out of the box. The blue tint of the water tank is very satisfying. It's lines are sleek. Filling it is an absolute dream, you just lift the cover and add more water. The tank holds just over 1 gallon, and on high it lasted over 12 hours. I have it on low today and it is moisturizing my house twice as long. That's amazing for 1 gallon. Oh, it's absolutely silent as well. last but not least, a little scrub brush is attached under the water tank for cleaning off the heating element.
Works well until it doesn't. I burned through one of these units every winter. They don't last long, but what can you expect for so little? They just aren't built to last.
I keep having problems with water boiling out of the thing. Right now, it is doing it. I clean it with vinegar and brush and seems fine for a few days and goes back to having problems. It is too late the return, or I would. Just junk now, I guess.
I originally purchased This humidifier because of the large tank size. At first everything seemed OK, but after about a week, I noticed the amount of vapor was decreasing. The reset light came on, so I knew it was time to clean it. When I dismantled the unit, I noticed that the heating element was corroded, and there was grey corrosion in the water as well as in the tank. Now I'm worried about a fire hazard. It comes with a little brush to “clean “ it with, but it does absolutely nothing. After the first cleaning, the system started running very loudly. And since then I have had to try and clean it every day, or else it does not work. I will be returning it today! I've had better humidifiers for less money. Don't waste your time or your money! I've included photos of the inside.
Do NOT buy this product. I used it for 7 days got very very sick congested sinus infection etc after seeing black and green mold in the unit. Can't believe this could happen with a brand new unit.
I will start if by saying I generally purchase a new warm mist humidifier every year or so. I've probably owned 10 at this point and have purchased both brands names and generic. We do have hard water, but it's city water and we also use a softener. These types of humidifiers usually last about a year (sometimes up to 2 years) and I always get rid of them after the coating on the heating element begins to deteriorate - generally after many, many cleanings. This one has by far has been the worst and want even the cheapest. We have used this for less than a week. This morning, I disassembled it to do a full cleaning and I noticed the coating from the heating element completely corroded. Not only was it crumbled in the bottom white chamber, it left a thick, filmy coating (not mold - but the residue from corroding the heating element) all over the plastic piece where the steam exits. After dumping the bottom chamber into my sink, it left the same nasty coating in my sink. The most terrifying part is that these coatings are notorious for containing PFAS and other dangerous chemicals and I've apparently been breathing them in for a week while I've been sick plus I'm sure that nasty coating is all over my room now as the must settles. I have never seen anything like this. This is a unit that was not even touched with vinegar to clean it yet and was used less than 7 days. I definitely would not recommend this product and highly suggest if you already own it, you throw it away if corrosion has started.
Used it for five days and the edges rusted and the box was stuck on it. Horrible
We used it for a couple months cleaning it regularly and the black paint peeled from the element and now it sounds odd when running. Will be replacing.
