The report is in. Someone I live with has been having a horrible flare up. Ok, It's my husband. Just don't tell him I told you. He said they are nice quality and useful if you don't have any open areas at all on your tender area. If you do though, it'll give you a huge jolt of ‘alcohol on an open wound' pain. Choose wisely.
So good! I love how moist the wipes are and they're a really durable wipe as well that they aren't gonna tear when you're trying to take them out of the package. They do offer pretty much instantaneous relief and a very nice cooling effect as well. The only thing I wish is that the packaging wasn't this obnoxiously, obvious, bright, yellow, but not anything really worth complaining about I guess.
as others have mentioned, removing wipes is not easy. patience and care are your friends here. the wipes are super moist, which is a huge plus, but they tear very easily trying to pull them from the opening. otherwise the witch hazel is effective and the price is far cheaper than other brands
I've never been a fan of the center witch hazel however, these work exactly as described in suspected they do what they need to do. I did have to wrap them up, put them inside of a Ziploc baggie because I personally cannot stand in the smell, however, why waste your money in preparation age who knew there were so many options for hemorrhoids these days and it can really add up should you have to make a emergency purchase for relief. Despite closing the plastic snap lid on the packaging, I could still smell it, but I do have a strong sense of smell so this once again might just be my own personal opinion however I do recommend
Please stop advertising these wipes and the unmedicated wipes as flushable. They are NOT flushable. Neither one dissolves in water and the residue left behind clogs drains and septic systems. Other than that they clean well and provide adequate relief.
They need to make these in not flushable. They tear and fall apart. These are used by people to prevent irritation in a specific area. These are not flat areas. We need something that doesn't fall apart. These can be used by all ages but often are used by older and disabled people. We need something sturdier.
These are okay for the price, but you have to be careful when taking them out of the packet because they tear easily. They also have caused a little itching if I use too many in a day, which for me would be about 3 or more. They are WAY too drying to use in the vaginal area and they cause itching in that area. Overall I like them, but I am not crazy about the way the wipes will rip so easily. I'd buy them again, but just not use too many in a day to avoid side effects I don't like.
These witch hazel wipes are a bit difficult to get out of the package as they tend to tear if you pull on them. That's a fault of the package design. They work as you'd expect. Even though it says flushable, I don't because I have a septic tank. The wipes do provide some relief from hemorrhoid discomfort. They are less expensive than the Prep H brand, but more expensive than the Equate witch hazel wipes that don't have the plastic "lid" on the package. Since the ingredients are the same, I went with the lidless version for my next purchase.
The witch hazel is the only good part. It does help with relieve but these wipes were too thin and didn't pull easily from the pack so a lot were wasted as they were shredded by the time I got them out. My wife is better with these things. She buys the pure and and name brand most of the time. The tucks are small but at least I can get them out of the package. Overall probably better off paying a few dollars more.
fall apart in your hand, cant pull out of package without putting holes in multiple sheets, not very moist for being so flimsy. all in all waste of money better off to buy some baby wipes and cream separately. personally I threw him in the trash after trying to use them a couple times and shoving so many holes through them because I wasn't about to wipe my backside with shredded moisture to stick to everything. would not recommend!
