The eureka brand has been out for a long time and somehow a lot of people don’t know about eureka’s quality, performance, and price. The eureka Power Speed Lightweight Upright Vacuum NEU180 is a lightweight vacuum that packs a punch. The first time I used it, I was impressed on how much power it generates and it picks up the smallest of things. For me, I believe this vacuum is quieter than my other vacuum and it does not overheat with continuous use. Compared to other lightweight vacuums, the eureka Power Speed Lightweight Upright Vacuum NEU180 is more versatile and holds more with its extra-large dust clip. One thing I really like about this vacuum is that I can use this on all floors – carpet, tile floors, hardwood floors, and concrete in the garage. I do not have to switch to a different vacuum. For all kinds of cleaning, there is always a handy attachment that I can use to clean cobwebs, ceiling fan dust, and hard to reach places. What is really nice about the eureka Power Speed Lightweight Upright Vacuum NEU180 is the price. I could probably spend more on a popular brand vacuum but the eureka Power Speed Lightweight Upright Vacuum NEU180 will do the exact same thing. Why spend more? I highly recommend this vacuum because it does the same thing what other fancy, expensive, high-end vacuum do. This is a best-kept secret.

My last two upright vacuums have been Dysons, so I find myself comparing this Eureka to them. I have both hardwood and carpeted floors. The Eureka picked up quite a bit of dirt and was lightweight and easy to use. I especially like that the power switch is foot activated. I used the upholstery tool to vacuum my couch and it worked great, picking up all the cat hair. The onboard tools are super easy to hook up, which is also a plus. There are no bags needed and the canister is easy to empty.

Absolutely love this vacuum! First off, the assembly was a breeze and honestly these days the complicated assembly of some products is a complete aversion for me. I really appreciate the fact that other than the attachments the only assembly is snapping the handle into the base! It’s very sleek and pretty looking which is nice as well. I appreciate the multiple depth settings and tried them on various rugs and flooring in my home. In one room there is a 2” thick Sherpa type rug that it cleaned AMAZINGLY well. It took ALL of the cleaning powder and tons of crud out of the fibers and left it very soft and tousled. The shorter fiber rugs ended up quite crisp as well and very clean! I tried the “bare floor” setting and do have to complain slightly. Medium-sized pieces of food scraps weren't picked up very well, but smaller pieces get sucked up very easily. Also it’s VERY loud compared to most other vacuums I’ve used, but it does do its job very well! All in all, I would recommend this to others for the price, and I am very happy to add this to my cleaning arsenal!

The Eureka POWERSPEED vacuum cleaner is lightweight. It has a comfortable handle making it easy to carry. It has 4 settings for carpet and the one setting for bare floors. It has great suction but is not hard to push and pull on carpet. I like the design of the brush attachment making it easy to vacuum baseboards and inside my windows. It also has a crevice tool and upholstery brush. These attachments are stored on board the vacuum. It has an extra-large capacity dust cup but they do recommend it be emptied with each use. Emptying the dust cup could not be easier. And the cup is big enough to insert my hand and wipe it out with a paper towel. The filter is washable making it even more efficient. It also has a long 25’ cord. The quick release wand was easy to release and hook up with attachments. The release and power buttons at the bottom of the vacuum are also easy to use. It is overall a good choice.

Vacuuming made clever, easy and time saving! I vacuum my downstairs every day! I'm a person who really likes vacuuming. I received the Eureka Power Speed Lightweight NEU180 and I did not place too much importance on it being "lightweight". Sure enough and I genuinely noticed a remarkable difference when it comes to the weight. A little over 10 pounds is a big deal to me now! There is no assembly required, just snap the handle on top and you will hear it click in. So, right out of the box I was ready to go! I did not expect to see any dirt/dust in the cup. I was really surprised when I finished and looked at the dust cup. There was quite a bit of fine dust in the cup! I am so sold on the power and suction of this vacuum. It really is something to boast about! It is an extra large dust cup which is a click away from emptying which is made easy and quick! I believe I can vacuum throughout my home and it would not be full. I value the 5 height adjustments because I do have a bare kitchen floor and a shag area rug. It did not lose suction and handled it very well with no need to go over the same area especially with a shag rug. I'm super impressed with the quick release handle attaching to the hose extending up to 7 feet. The wide cleaning path and the function to almost lay flat to get under the furniture is so much more helpful than I imagined. It does come with an upholstery, crevice and brush tools. With all these handy and smart functions I would expect a much higher price tag and it does not! Well Done!

It weighs only half as much as my 3 yr old Hoover does. Simple to assemble. HUGE dirt collection container. I used to have to dump after each room. Now I can vacuum my whole house with one dump! Filters are washable, no more buying more. At first I thought it had less suction than my old one but no! It has even more suction. So much so that it nearly eats my small throw rugs! It has an easy to turn dial from hard floors to carpet. I love this vacuum. I purchased the 3 year warranty. So, we'll see if I need to use it.

The Eureka Power Speed Light Weight Vaccum NEU180 is a pretty good (not great) vacuum, it is very lightweight and has a 25ftcord and a washable filter (no bags) it has 5 height settings and an extended stretch hose and quick release wand and extra attachments to get into small crevices and has a xl easy empty dust cup, now there is its features but how does it work? It works pretty good it's a little loud but has good suction the wand detached easily and can get into the tightest areas. It is kind of small so it doesn't take up much room when stored not sure of how long it will last because it feels a little flimsy but the cost is under $50.00 so if it lasted only 1 year you would get your money's worth, so if you don't have much money and need a vaccum maybe you should give this one a try , it's pretty good for the price.

I vacuum the rugs in my house very often. Usually three times, sometimes four per week, depending upon weather. My entire house is black rugs on top of tile floors and to keep them looking decent frequent vacuuming is key. I find the Eureka PowerSpeed Lightweight Upright Vacuum NEU180 works very well on my black rugs that due to the nature of the color show most anything that is light in color. Drop anything on a black rug and it is easily and instantly identified. To complete my house I utilize two different height setting on the Eureka PowerSpeed and the result is nicely vacuumed rugs on either setting with very little effort cause of it’s very light weight. The twenty five foot long power cord allows me to vacuum with a minimal number of stops to relocate to another electrical outlet. The canister that contains the dust / dirt after vacuuming is clear, see through, so knowing when to empty the large canister is never a mystery. The washable filter within the canister is easily washed and dried to maintain a clean and dust free home environment. I am convinced the Eureka PowerSpeed vacuum is a true bargain, so I certainly recommend it to others.

It's very loud. That's why I rate it as average. I guess it does the trick, but it's so loud that I can't recommend this product.

At $49.95, this is a good vacuum cleaner. It's lightweight, but all plastic. The suction is pretty good, but I don't like having to reach down to the bottom to adjust the vacuum height. The foot pedals are too close together, and one of them is the on/off switch. I like the attachments, which can be put on the hose directly, or you can remove the handle and place them on it. The suction is pretty hefty when you attach them to the hose itself. Thought it was going to suck my furniture cover right off my recliner! When attached to the removable handle, there is a notable difference in suction power. I don't know why that is like that. I have some mobility issues, and at first glance, I thought this would be a great choice. It really isn't that good for me personally other than regular vacuuming. The attachments actually all have a place to put them easily, and they don't fall off. Generous cord, easy to use for most people I am sure. If I were a young person just starting out in my first apartment, this is probably the vacuum I would buy. Eureka makes good products; I think it's the first brand I ever bought! It does come with a two year warranty, which is good. A lot of "lightweight" vacuums these days are SO expensive, and they often don't have good attachments. I would still recommend this to a friend, just one that gets around a little better than I do!
