This is the second bunk bed I've bought from this brand—first white, now gray—and shockingly, the world didn't end during assembly. Yes, it has a lot of pieces. It's a bunk bed, not a folding chair. And to be fair, it's harder than your average IKEA project. If you've survived IKEA's more “character-building” builds, this one sits right up there. Challenging? Yes. Impossible? No. The design actually makes sense, the parts fit, and the built-in shelves are genuinely useful instead of the usual “looks cute, does nothing” gimmick. I see a lot of reviews complaining about assembly, and I'm honestly confused. I've built two of these now—everything lined up, there were extra parts, and the instructions are basically a picture book. Not exactly rocket science unless your Allen wrench fears you. Each bed took me around four hours. Anyone faster deserves a medal. With a little patience and a second pair of hands for a few steps, it's absolutely doable. Pro tips: don't tighten the bolts until the end and match the hole placements with the diagrams before committing. I also added a sheet of plywood over the slats for extra support. If you do that, put the bottom slats in first, then the plywood. If you fully install all slats first… you will experience instant regret. Ask me how I know. Once assembled, the bed is sturdy, practical, and honestly better engineered than a lot of pricier furniture. If you can handle tools without melting down, you'll be fine. I used Allen bits with a power drill instead of the tiny hex wrench. My hands thanked me. Shipping was on time for both orders, nothing was damaged, and yes—the boxes are heavy enough to question your life choices. GOOD LUCK. YOU CAN DO THIS.
Great deal on a solid product
my kids love it. No real trouble putting together.
Assembly instructions were ridiculous. Bed is sturdy enough considering the low price. Looks nice and my girls love the shelves. My only complaint is how difficult it is to put together and how insufficient the instructions are
Overall great concept and my grand girls love the individual shelves, but bed is very wobbly and doesn't appear to be sturdy. I had to look up weight to see max of weight. When 2 are up on top bunk, feels like it will break. I might try to buy some more boards to see if I can make sturdier. Overall the bed is pretty low especially on bottom bunk. Wish there was a way to change the placement of the ladder
looks good %26 easy to assemble, but not super durable %26 the open back so items fall frlm the top through the back yo the bottom is annoying. Hopefully it will last a few years.
The bed itself is very nice and seems sturdy enough. The build is ridiculous. Nothing is clearly labeled, directions are tiny, and the hardware is all mixed together.
Got lost in transit. Finally arrived and there are NO instructions or even fastenings or screws to put the bunk bed together! So no have a flat pack with no way of putting it together!!
Only one of the two boxes were delivered. Not simple to contact seller for replacement or help.
No directions and No hardware. Having to box pieces back up for a return. Kids are super upset and so am I….
