Not waterproof
It's water resistant but not waterproof which is what is advertised and what I need. I put part if the material in a full sink with a tissue enveloped inside the fabric to simulate what would happen if a puddle of fluid sat on it for an hour. The tissue was very lightly damp and I could feel light dampness of the other side of the fabric. You can also see tiny beads of water. I can see this might be ok in some situations but I don't want any fluid leaking.

I was under the impression that it in case the mattress and zipped it up but that is not it it's like a sheet made out of plastic. and it is not waterproof that is a lie lie lie the only thing I thought was good was the pillow cases that they included but for the price you can get a cheap one at Walmart for $12 that's an actual encasement that lives up which is what I wanted.
