EverStart Platinum AGM Automotive Battery, Group Size 24F, 12 V, 710 CCA

I have had to replace the battery 4 times in 5 yrs no matter the brand or its chemical make up in my 2015 Nissan Armada. The original battery then two more with 5-7 yr extended warranty died within 2-3 yrs which all were wet cells. I bought a glass mat this time and couldn’t be happier with this transaction at my local Boerne, Tx Walmart.

I had a 3yr, 24F Everstart battery in my truck for over 4 years. It was getting close to 5 years and still going strong. I was always a little concerned with not being able to check the electrolyte level over the grids as I couldn't remove the cover. A shelf sticker under the battery said "Maintenance Free" when I purchased it, but experience with lead acid batteries made me skepticle. Nothing on the battery said "Maintenance Free". I also had experience with AGM batteries and understood they were absolutely maintenance free and supposed to handle vibration better. I drive on dirt roads. This is a new installation; ask me again in 4 years.

I have a 2009 Honda Pilot EX-L. I live in New England = cold winters. I do not drive very often, approximately 1,000 miles per year. I may not drive it for 2 weeks and even then I drive a only a few miles. I am just in the perfect location for anything I ever need. I have gone through multiple batteries (normal lead-acid) in the last few years. I did some research on the best battery for my situation. The term AGM battery came up. I hadn't heard of that. It's designed for my driving pattern, weather, etc. I bought the Everstart Platinum AGM. It has a 4-year warranty but there is no depreciation in value over time. If it fails at any time, I get a free full replacement, no matter what. With all taxes, fees, etc., I paid $218.00. I'm very happy in the price, comparatively, and in the quality/quick starts even in zero-degree temperatures.

Via my own research your product was as good as or better than others and was value priced your delivery service and time for delivery was excellent. I am using this battery in place of Optima batteries which I have purchased in the past. The delivery made by Krystal and her son was absolutely excellent as they are independent contractors.

The normal batteries only seem to last 3-4 years and wanted something more reliable. I had already bought this type for a 2018 Toyota Highlander, but then also got one for my 2013 Tundra a year later. Seems to be good so far. I like that it is sealed, so no acid can drip out, and no need to fill with distilled water.

Workeds great on a 2015 Toyota Highlander plat. The reverse camera angles and the interior lighting now works consistently. I had no idea my battery was dying until everything slowly shut down one by one. Terminals were clean and everything was easy to install. The car Cranked on the first go.

Shipped to my door for a reasonable price. I have had good luck with other Walmart's AGM batteries. It replaced a Walmart sealed lead acid battery. Which lasted 10 years.

the battery is way too big for my car, and had to find that out the hard way, as the terminals had touched the hood of car... been trying to return it ad exchange for one that fits (93R), but as usual, the app has to be difficult and not cooperate...

This online battery purchase experience was unsatisfactory because (1) the temporary hold amount of $201 was charged to my credit card versus the $189 advertised price. (2) On 03.13.26, I went to the Dover DE store to return the old battery core and was told that online battery purchases do not show up on the system when the receipt is scanned which makes the core refund processing impossible. I was instructed to contact Walmart.com online agents. (3) After speaking with a walmart.com online associate while at the store, I was instructed to leave the old battery core and the matter would be escalated. About 2 weeks later, I placed another call to follow up on the matter. On 03.27.26, I received an email stating " For auto batteries purchased online, applicable core fee will be refunded onto a Walmart Gift Card once the core is returned to a store with an Auto Care Center. Most stores process these returns in the auto center". This makes no sense - since the store in question sells batteries and processes core refunds on batteries sold in-store but had issues with batteries sold online. The issue of the temporary hold of $201 charge to my credit card vs $189 is still outstanding to date 4.2.26. I would NOT recommend online auto battery purchase.

I ordered on line and when I returned the old battery the Walmart store said they could not give me refund for the core. I contacted Walmart on line customer service and the gentleman I talked to said he would send me an email with document to take to the store to get refund, but it has been over a week and I still have not received that. So the old battery is still in my car. I don't have a problem with the new battery. I have the problem with customer service and the store associates who don't take an extra step to give any help.
