EverStart Platinum AGM Automotive Battery, Group Size S46B24R 12 Volt, minimum 325 CCA

Used this for our Ryobi riding lawn mower. Changed from 4 Standard batteries to this battery and it works perfect. No more keeping it plugged in all the time, and it holds the charge really great. Have 2.5 acres and can mow the complete yard and still have some charge left. Best part though is not having to keep it plugged in all the time

I'm glad Walmart carried this battery for my 2nd gen 2009 Prius. I saved $20 from Oreily's or Autozone. Plus Walmart delivered to my house since my battery was out and I couldn't drive. I replaced my 9 year old battery for this one and my Prius starts again and got rid of all those warning indicators due to the failed battery. I also save $200-$300 in mechanics labor. Nowadays, it seems any kind of trade labor takes you for ride and charges you as much as possible. It takes longer, but I was able to do it myself and learn in the process.

I needed this battery to replace a failed auxiliary battery in my 2014 Prius II. I bought this one, installed it and turned my old battery in to a nearby Walmart to reverse the core charge imposed with my purchase. My car works great now, so I'm pleased I made this purchase. The specs of this battery are a bit better than the original battery in my car as well.

So far so good. I was so happy when we found this battery and over $100.00 less than the price I paid 20 months ago the battery fit with no problem and my 2015 Toyota Pruis starts with no trouble everytime. Did I mention it was $100.00 less than my old battery. Thank You Wal Mart

The old battery had died and while recharging in the car it over heated and started venting battery acid gas. I took the car, a 2013 Prius to my local battery shop to have the battery checked. The battery is located in the trunk and a number of easily removable interior panels have to be removed to access it. When the panels were removed, it was found the battery was overheated and the vent hose to the exterior of the car was disconnected. So toxic and explosive battery gas was being discharged into the enclosed rear spaces of the car. I was told to move away from the car and the battery guys put on some PPE then disconnected the battery cable and cleared the area to let the gas dissipate and the battery cool down some. The guys then looked for a replacement. They did not have one. They only found 3 of them in inventory and they were on the other side of the country. After a period of time to allow the gas to dissipate and battery cool down, they reconnected the battery and told me to take the car home, park it and not drive it until I located and replaced the battery. I search for a replacement battery and, surprise, surprise, there were almost none available in my area. After searching, I found the battery was available at Walmart, and was pretty much the best value. They also had next day delivery free of charge. So I purchased it. It arrived at my front door the next day. I then installed it in the Prius. A big plus, the new battery has a grab handle, the old battery did not. It was much easier to handle. The new battery is now installed and working fine. It appears this battery is about as good as the other batteries I have had. And it is less expensive, but has the same capacity and specifications as the old battery. In fact, it’s a little better spec wise than the old one. Current am happy with the result.

Battery is fine. Getting the refund for the state mandated return of the old battery required assistance from manager. The system didn't seem to be set up to handle that well. Everyone did an excellent job, but the computer system and/or training could be improved.

This is a good battery for a Toyota Prius and about the best price you'll find around. I shopped around and all other options were much more pricey. This was also in stock and ready for pickup. Win! The only downside was the core charge, and not being able to get that refunded. Walmart had no way to take back an old battery and refund the core charge. I visited customer service who told me to call the 800 number, which told me to visit customer service. At least the ladies at the customer service were human, but no more helpful than the A.I. voice on the phone. This makes me never want to buy a car battery from Walmart ever again.

I purchased this battery online and had it delivered, which was in the evening. I installed it that night in my 2009 Prius and it worked for about the first week, then went dead. I would charge it but the charge never lasted very long. Lastly, about 1 month after purchase, I had the charger on it all afternoon. Tried to start the car the next day and the battery was totally dead, again. Once I took it back out of the car, I saw the sticker on it as manufactured in 7/24. This battery was 1 1/2 years old before I got it. I returned it.

Very bad experience to get hep process the core charge. If you place an order online, the customer service onsite cannot process the core charge refund. You HAVE to Call help number online. They will keep your waiting FOREVER. I waited at Walmart customer service center for 30 mins! Worst experience ever!

I ordered the EverStart Platinum AGM battery (Group Size S46B24R) from Walmart, but the battery I received is different from the one shown in the product photo. The online listing shows 410 CCA, but the battery I got says 325 CCA. It looks like a lower-spec version. I expected to receive the same model shown on the website. Please update the product description or send the correct version.
