This 12 gauge wire from EverStart is perfect for small projects! It has a pliable PVC shielded coating (mine is in black), heavy stranded copper wire, and can carry up to 20 Amps. If your auto project requires 12 gauge wire of this type, then this wire is perfect.

This wire is great for automotive applications. Very good quality copper 12-gauge wire. The insulation is heavy duty (compared to in home wiring) so a bit harder to stripe but remains flexible in cold temperatures. Wire also takes solder very well just be sure to use flex first.

This EverStart 12-Gauge Wire is 12ft long in length. Wire covering is black in color. It is quality wire that solders and crimps well. The plastic protective covering is consistent, durable, tough and yet strips easily with a quality pair of electrical snips. This auto wire is made for the light switch to fuse block or relay but it can be used for other projects (it is not tinned so I would not use it in a marine environment; but then again, its not made for that either). Overall, I am very happy with this wire and I like the size spool for smaller projects. I will definitely use it again in the future. A+

This is a quality 12 foot spool of stranded 12 gauge copper wire for 12 volt projects. I've personally used it for adding fog lights to my jeep and for adding a light bar to the front of my zero turn mower which makes it much easier to see during the evening. The coating doesn't flake and is flexible enough to run the wires wherever you want them to go. It is also easy to strip to the length you need yet tough enough that it won't easily rub through and cause a short. I'm also planning to add a 12 volt outlet in the trunk of my jeep so I'll be buying more of this soon

The key to automotive 12 gauge wire is its pliability. You want soft pliable insulation so that you can route the wire where it needs to go in an automobile. I only recommend stranded wire for automotive use. The quality of this roll is very good for what you pay. It's not as pliable as some of the more expensive wire but for the average DIYer I think it's perfect. I also like that it comes in a nice 12 foot roll and the roll itself has a hook that you can hang on a pegboard. Wire has a tendency to unwind, so I I typically keep mine wrapped in the saran wrap (that it came with) when not in use. Another tip I can give you is to hang onto the label that comes with the wire (maybe tape it back to the bottom or top of the roll) only because it's nice to know what gauge wire you're using and that serves as a quick reference.

Needed some rewiring on my motorcycle so having used EverStart products multiple times before this was a no-brainer. Anyone who has done rewiring has had the spool drop and roll away from them or having to keep stopping and unrolling the spool, especially if you're pulling wire through wire runs like I was doing. EverStart eliminated all that with a simple, brilliant idea having a stationary hook in the middle of a revolving spool. You just hang it and pull and the wire just unravels effortlessly, no dropping and rolling away and you can keep both hands on the project. Convenient, time saving, neat job with an excellent product.

This wire is a plesure to work with, wire is not to stiff or flimsy making it hard to run. Color and insulation is consistant and I did not find and thin spots in insulation. Wire is easy to strip and connect with tape or wire nuts. Never had a problem with EverStart products

hey it does the job it's 12 gauge wire the next to this will be 10 gauge I want it in red all I got is it was black but all you have to do is get that red tape and you mark it off that's all you have to do this is well worth it so if you need any projects or required this kind of gauge get it it's pure copper.

It sounds a solid product. The copper core is composed of many thin wires instead of a solid one piece. The rubber skin is well built and whole wire itself still is kept flexible. 12 Gauge. No complaints.
