This wire is very good as it is much stiffer than others i have purchased. The strands were the correct thickness to match to match the connectors unlike others i have purchased that did not match up being too thin.

Great price and great quality in this 16 ga wire ! I used it to wire up some speakers on my boat , my only complaint is that this particular brand doesn’t offer a larger size for example 50ft or 100 ft. Overall a quality product at a great price point.

This roll of auto wire is by the EverStart brand. It is 30 feet long. It is rated at 16 gauge, which is good for auto related electrical wiring needs. The copper wire quality seems to be pretty good and should be durable for long term use. I like it also that it features the eye catching red color. Overall, I like its quality and thickness for auto electrical wiring purpose. I would recommend it if you are looking for wire for auto related electrical wiring purpose.

We have 5 vehicles, 3 small tractors, and a variety of farm equipment. At any given time, one or more of these are in need of repair – and we do most of the repairs ourselves. Also, we live on a small “mini” ranch in a rural area so have an abundance of mice, rats, and other varmints that seem to love to chew on wire insulation, especially since some wire insulation is now plant, not petroleum, based. So, to address our never-ending repairs, we keep a large assortment of wires of differing gauges and other characteristics (ex. solid core vs stranded). I was, therefore, delighted to evaluate and review the 16 gauge EverStart 30 foot red auto wire. This week, I’ll be replacing the O2 sensor in my 2005 Hyundai Elantra GT. Seems the existing sensor had tasty insulation for rodents. I may be able to repair the sensor by fixing the chewed wiring, but I have ordered a new sensor just in case. Well, the new O2 sensor arrived. I installed it and it solved the problems. Later, I’ll try to rehab the old O2 sensor, but won’t be able to use my new EverStart Red wire as its not color coded for the sensor (see pic). However, the EverStart Red wire will join the collection of “auto” style wires for use in future repair projects (see a few of the still spooled wires in the group pic). Although at just under $8, the EverStart 30 foot spool seems a bit expensive, I would still recommend it for those looking for good quality auto wire..
