Exactly what I needed

My dad always used these toggle switches for everything from toys to cars. I remember having one of these to turn the headlights on and off. These little switches just have so many uses that I think nearly everyone should have several of these in the tool box! They are easy to install and function well. There are directions on the package that show the basics of use, but it's not at all hard to figure them out. This is metal so I expect several years of use. The color is silver and not to large so it is ready to install and use in a variety of items.

Needed a new 2 position 20 amp 12 vdc switch to repair a failing switch on an electronic control panel. The switch fit the application perfectly and worked as expected the first time. Instructions on packaging were good and clear.

I have the metal toggle switch that was manufactured by the EverStart company. This nice little switch was designed to be used with a 20A/12V DC. Installation was fairly simple and it can be used to run most anything that you find yourself needing a toggle switch to operate. My son and I installed one onto my truck to operate an aftermarket train horn and it works great! As long as you have some understanding of what you are trying to accomplish then you should have minimal issues with the install. Be sure to determine your accessory amperage before installation and never use above rated current or voltage. You will begin by disconnected the power source. Once that has been done, you will then drill a 7/16" hole and install the switch. You will then attach wires and reconnect the power source. It is best to go ahead and install an inline fuse holder when putting the switch in to avoid damaging the circuit and to protect the electrical system. This switch was designed to control the flow of electrical current with each flip of the switch. The switch is either on or it is off. The switch appears to be well made and should last a long time with no issues. If you are in the market for a 20A/12V DC metal toggle switch then this is the switch you will want to grab.

Excellent quality switch that won't toggle accidentally. Definite On/Off positioning with a firm "snap" into position. Clear embossed ON/OFF position ring, so no guess work about its position. Metal housing with thick copper conductors, easy access for connecting wires. Sizing: Threaded diameter is 3/8" Surface of switch housing to top of threads is 3/8" exactly Switch housing dimensions: 3/8 tall, 1/2" wide, 1 and 1/16" long Entire height from bottom of lugs to top of switch toggle: 1 and 15/16" (just under 2") Switch position collar is grooved to prevent incorrect positioning indication (fool proof). Using it on a Golf Cart Dash for LED lighting on/off I would definitely recommend this switch without reservation.

Comparable to a Switchcraft. Very well-made, I’ve got all kinds of things I can use this for. It is designed for high voltage/high current or for home appliance use. Actually I believe this will be helpful as a light switch in my kitchen. I can replace the broken switch in my stove lighting console. So I appreciate this very much, I am taking note of the vendor so I can see what other items they have that can be useful. The only problem with this was the delivery, my proper address was not entered onto the package correctly, and UPS is not very friendly to correcting situations like that. I have changed my address to a simpler format so that hopefully my next delivery will not suffer the same fate. Because I look forward to these deliveries, and this was the first one where I ever had a problem. Fortunately I was able to track down the shipment and I just went and got it.

This EverStart Metal Toggle Switch 10885W is just what it says it is. An excellent metal Toggle Switch to replace a toggle switch that is no longer working. We will be using this toggle switch in our older model golf cart for turning the lights on and off. It is a quality toggle switch which is very easy to wire up. As long as all wires are hooked up properly, the toggle switch will work just fine. Excellent product.

I needed a good toggle switch that I could use in my jeep to open the window on the hatch back so when I saw this one I decided to get it. It worked out really well and now having to use the pickup service for no contact shopping,I don't have to get out of my car when I go to pick up things at the grocery store. It was a real simple installation My Husband drilled a hole to accept toggle, connected the two wires from switch to sensor and that’s it. This toggle switch could be used for numerous commercial and residential applications. It was designed for use with a 20Amp/12Volt Direct Current system. the quality construction will give you many years of use. Very nice toggle switch. It doesn't hold a lot of voltage or current, but it works very well in conjunction with a relay. I use it on the tractor for the caution lights. Even though this switch isn't water proof and is being to rust, its been going strong for 5 years.
