[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stuff is amazing. I wasn't sure at first as my face sort of broke out worse for the first couple of weeks. After my skin got used to the change in product it's looking better than ever! I wish I'd discovered it sooner.
Discovered EMJ face scrub & pre-shave, used two tubes of it; it disappeared from the store shelves. Went online, bought EMJ face scrub & pre-shave with altered packaging (original version has SKU 78639-00058, replacement ("NEW LOOK") has 78639-00057). Have tried it and find it MUCH LESS USEFUL. Part of what made the original useful was its very good rinsability; the "new" version has a cream base, rather like skin cream, and is hard to wash off. I probably will not continue to use it.
I've had combination skin for all of my 62 years. Facial cleansers that could stand up to the oily and acne-prone areas always dried out the rest of my skin, and they left my nose both peeling and with obvious blackheads. This EMJ face scrub, used every other day, hits the sweet spot - it deep cleans (no more blackheads!) and prevents acne without drying out the skin on my nose. I had been using another “mostly natural ingredients” brand for years that was way more expensive, and it didn't do nearly as good a job as the EMJ line does - for about one-fifth of the price.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this scrub to help our teen son with acne. Not overly gritty, rinses easily, and leaves his skin clean feeling he says. We have noticed an improvement after using just a few times. Thank you EMJ
I use this about 3 times a week, I like how it makes my face feel very clean, refreshed and smooth without any irritation. I have tried other face scrub cleaners but they are a way too strong for my skin causing redness which looks like I got a sunburn. This product just has the right amount of key ingredients in it for my face without the burn effect.
I've used a few scrubs over the years and most are usually quite abrasive or the smell is ok. This one is nice. Not real abrasive and you can feel it activating on the skin. The difference afterwards is very noticeable. Just like Every Man Jack's other products, the quality is top. I won't lie. There is some burning but that's usual with this type of product. Nothing to sneeze at though.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this line and products. Was curious to see how the face scrub worked, since I hadn't used before. The smell is fantastic and skin feels great after. I only wish it had a bit more exfoliate in it to feel that my face was getting a deeper scrub and exfoliation

A bit runny, lots of lather, not a lot of "scrub" feel or texture / consistency to it however. No smell which is nice and doesn't seem overly drying.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Did not have the granules that the unscented version had. Was looking for product with granules and very disappointed there was not anything in the description that mentioned this product was different than unscented version
