EvoShield XVT Batting Helmet Gloss Finish, Royal, Youth

My 13 year old love this helmet and it works great and looks even better. The only issue with this helmet is that it runnings REALLY BIG. The smaller size helmet is almost as big as the hat size listed for the large. If you're at all between sizes, choose the smaller size.

The Evo Shield baseball helmet is truly an advancement in design. The top of the helmet vent grid is the difference making this helmet synonymous with its name. On extremely hot days in the Texas sun playing back to back games, players sought out and took turns using this helmet instead of their personalized team helmets.

I bought two helmets this time for my son who plays club ball. He plays from west to east coast in many different climates. He loves to because its comfortable in hot and cold weather. He got drill in the head by a fast ball and said he felt nothing. So that's why I bought two more for this great price.

This helmet is nice and price was good. My 14 year old son normally wears a large but this was a little big but kept it. Looks well vented and comfortable. Bought the face shield that matches and looks great. Feel safe with it attached and obviously perfect fit.

Awesome Helmet love it super comfortable got hit in the head didn't even feel it and it's super durable absolutely love it and got it from the best baseball site in the nation Baseball Savings!!!

This is my son's second Evoshield helmet. We only had to change colors for his new school. He loves the comfort and safety. He has a big head and this is the one that goes up to an 8.

Read reviews saying they ran a little big so with my son being a 7 3/8 hat size I got the helmet that's S/M 7-7 1/2 but it was very tight. Then ordered the larger size 7 1/2-8 and it's way too big. In comparing them we noticed that in the smaller helmet there is thicker padding and lesser padding in the larger one for some reason. Should have been the other way around.

They fit strange. For ten year olds we bought the smallest size (youth) and they are still big. Also, note that when you buy larger sizes the helmet itself does not get larger. Instead they reduce the amount of padding within the helmet. So every size you go up is technically less protective. Lucky for us we are using the smallest size so the kids will be protected. We had to buy spacer pads for some kids. They do look good though I gave it 3 stars. The gloss what looks sharp! Not sure I would be again though when the kids get older unless they put more padding in the larger sizes.

Helmets were too big. Fit in the crown for some of my youth but ear pads were way too loose. 1/2 range on head size is really narrow when compared to what other helmets offered. I bought for my 9U and 10U baseball teams, only half the team could make it work if had to. Those who heads were too big, went with size larger and it was too too big. Went with another brand that had size ranges over 1in. The ear pads fit way better and the kids were happier. It's a shame, we had evoshield helmets last year but these fit way way different.
