Exergen Temporal Scanner Thermometer with Smart Glow Features

I bought this thermometer because I didnt want an oral thermometer. It works great and is easy to use. I think it has been accurate. It's also made in USA!

Works great every time. Fast readout, I checked it against an old school thermometer (old nurse here who is not always so trusting of all the new gadgets). It was always either spot on or one tenth off (like 97.1 vs 97.2). I trust it's readings. The speed too will be valuable when you have cranky sick baby or child. I bought a second one for my niece who was expecting.

Works great, just make sure you don't drag the sensor across the wrong part of your head! One day, I thought it needed a new battery, then discovered I forgot to take the cover off. So, I really was only 90 degrees. Easiest way to take your own temperature is to look in the mirror. It is not contactless, so it's best to keep it to those in your household. Seems to be quite accurate, and the price is good for something like this!

I think mine came used even though the packaging didn't show so. It already had 3 or 4 different temps on it! But since a loved one had to be hospitalized, it was too late to take or send back. 🫤☹️

It was good for the first year then it just started to hope its temperature numbers it would read at 83.1, 72.5,, 99.7, 101.9 all in the normal spots you take a temperature. So then you go to change the battery and of course the door was not cut properly so you can not even take it off to change the battery.

Cheap quality. My previous exergen from 10 yrs ago was a better build. The button easily gets stuck in depressed position before popping back up. Also getting a very wide range if temperatures which makes me question its accuracy. Im using it correctly by keeping flush with the skin each time, but still getting very different results. Meh.

I purchased this specific thermometer because the product photos showed it included 25 Safetyscan Caps. None were included with the package.

I bought this for my nephew on 12/31 and i used it 4 times max. The following day I wanted to check his temperature and it wouldn't give it to me. The battery was dead! I don't know why it was dead if the thermometer automatically shuts off. I bought extra batteries but the thermometer's battery compartment was impossible to open. Everyone in my house tried. I looked up videos and this was an issue for a lot of people. I am finally returning it today (didn't have time) .

I would never buy this item again. depending on which side of your head you go on, you get a different reading. the blue cap on top comes off completely they don't tell you this, so if you leave that on you get a very low temperature reading. once I figured out that I had to come off but got a better temperature reading however, it's a piece of junk. definitely going back to the store

Absolutely terrible. It has given me many false alarms and scared the life out of me. Checked it behind my daughter's ear and it's read over 106 twice when on her head it reads 103.2 and with an underarm thermometer 101.5. Piece of absolute junk. Does nothing but give anxiety.
